Itinerary
Take a surf lesson with me in beautiful East Cape or Cerritos beach in the Coasts of Los Cabos!
This experience is good for first time beginners and anyone else who wants to improve their surfing abilities.
We drive about 1 hour to the right beach depending on the season. We travel on a comfy Van where you can enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery along the way. Once we arrive at the beach we set up our spot with chairs, cooler, and shade.
We will start with a safety briefing, basic surf theory, and a practical teaching on the sand where I will explain everything you need to know to paddle out, catch a wave, stand up on your surfboard, and have control as you ride the wave.
Then its time to go in the water and catch some waves! I will assist you all the way inside of the water, once you are comfortable catching a wave with my help, you can try it by yourself.
The full time of the lesson takes 1.5 hours. After the lesson is done you will have extra time to use the board, catch more waves, or chill at the beach having fruit, snacks and refreshments.
Once the surfing is done we pack up and go for delicious lunch.
After eating lunch we drive back to Los Cabos.

Traveler pickup is offered
We offer pick up at most Hotels and Villas. However, if we are not able to do pick up at your hotel we will let you know ahead of time the closest meeting point for your pick up.

Max was super chill. The beach was gorgeous and he made surfing so easy. Incredibly encouraging so if you have no experience, don't fret. This guy has enough for everyone. If you go to the seafood place get the clams. Gotta be the best I've ever had. I'd give him 10 stars if I could!

Max was an amazing surfing teacher. He supported me the whole time through big waves, making sure that I was safe while surfing. 100% will book again:) make sure to try the Baja tacos and coconuts on the beach!

So thankful for this experience!!! The surfing was awesome!!! As beginners, my friend and I started at square one. Max was very informative about the basics. We practiced on land until we were comfortable to try it in and on the water. I was able to get up on the first try and continued to have an excellent time surfing! My friend was also able to get up and ride some waves! Cerritos beach is a great place to learn. Different sized waves for the people seeking a challenge and those for beginners. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try and experience the joy that comes with surfing and riding those awesome waves!!
I also want to note that Max picked us up from our resort at Pueblo Bonito Sunset, in Cabo and safely drove us to and from the beach. He was very kind and easy to talk to. Made for a very enjoyable day and overall experience. Also, when in the water, Max had the perfect cues as far as when to paddle and when to stand. Much appreciated!!! If you get the urge to explore and try something new, this is it!! Go for a surf!! It’s fun!! 😁☀️🌊

Great guy, super friendly, and knows tons about surfing. He comes prepared with beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella, which helped during breaks. He also helped a beginner surfer stand up and surf a wave on her first day! We enjoyed spending the day out on the ocean with a pro!

Max was a great instructor! He was insightful and patient with someone who had never even held a surfboard. This was a great outing for my husband and I. We would take turns catching waves...and I was able to stand a few times...not pretty, but I did it...thanks to Max's instruction!

Max picked us up in the morning and drove us about 45 minutes to a small surf town. We spent some time learning the basic movements on land before we went out. He gave us wetsuits to wear, which helped us stay in the water longer. We had a blast even though we wiped out the majority of the time. After a few hours on the beach Max took us to a small taco restaurant in the town, which was delicious. We got a tuna ceviche and fish tacos. There were also vegetarian options (avocado and sweet potato tacos). Overall it was a great day and we would definitely do it again! Thank you Max!

Max took us to a small beach approximately 45 minutes from our hotel. He had wet suits for us, which helped keep us in the water longer. He was patient with us and helped us “launch” as we became more comfortable with popping up on our own. After working up an appetite, he took us to a taco restaurant in the small surf town, where we ate tuna ceviche and fish tacos. They also had vegetarian options like avocado and sweet potato tacos. Overall it was a great day with lots of laughs.

2 adults and 4 kids went surfing. It was an amazing day! The instructor was very helpful with all abilities and ages! He was not only very knowledgeable with surfing but also with local cabo info. He speaks very good engish and takes safety very seriously!!!

Max was great and so patient helping my kids & wife & I all surf. We are definite beginners with only one prior lesson and they kept everything positive and encouraging, they were flexible with everything and helped each of us catch wave. After a brief instruction they got us out in the water. Cerritos beach was great for beginners...and the tacos at Barracuda after the lesson lived up to the hype. Max brought a friend, Twofik, along who was also super helpful and kind. Thanks for a great day! Would do it again...
