Our guide will meet you at the Swan fountain near the Oslo City Hall, a monumental red-brick building in which the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded. There, the guide will narrate stories about the dramatic history of this edifice and what this building can tell us about the Norwegian culture and the country’s past.

We will head to Karl Johans gate and the majestic Royal Palace of Oslo, built specifically for the very person the street is named after. As we will walk down Karl Johans gate, the other landmarks of Oslo will attract our attention – Oslo University, National Theatre, the building of Parliament, and the 17th-century Oslo Cathedral.

Stop At: The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, Kirsten Flagstads Pl. 1, Oslo 0150 Norway
The tour will come to a conclusion on a square next to the Central Railway Station after introducing Oslo Opera House, the city’s most popular building – you can enter the edifice’s hall or climb to the roof after the end of this tour.
