Itinerary
Once travelers reach the Gino Mazzuccato Glass factory, they will meet a member of our staff that will take care of them. The glass factory is located in a former Monastery, in the best location of the island, overlooking the Venice Lagoon. The activity will start by watching the Glass Master working. Travelers will see how he produces glass art pieces and then they will blow the glass along with the master.
During this experience there will be a member of our staff explaining about the glass history, the materials and the techniques of production.
After this experience they can visit the rest of the glass collection.
The glass blown by the travelers has no possibility to be taken away with them. That's because after it's been shaped and worked, the glass has to be cooled down slowly to be tempered and it takes about 24/48 hours.

The experience itself was really good. The staff were informative and engaging.
My issue was that the experience was sold as being for 45 minutes. We were somewhat rushed in and out all done in 20 mins. What we experienced was great but wanted and expected more. We also booked for 6 people but when we arrived they said only 4 people could do the actual glassblowing. Still don't know why. Fortunately 2 of our group didn’t want to do it but still charged the same price. They could make this experience fantastic but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend in its current form.

This was really neat and I could have watched an hours long demonstration from the glass master. I was glad we booked through viatour because a lot of the others in our group had booked somewhere else and they did not get to participate and blow glass. The whole experience was really fun.

Our family was extremely happy with our experience, it was well worth the money and the people were very kind! We were shown by the glass master how a vase and a horse figure are made. We also got to blow the glass to form a big bubble, which we really liked. As said, all the staff was very kind to us and we were very happy and pleased with our choice to book this experience :) We definitely recommend booking this experience if you want to see a glass master in action and also want to blow the glass a little bit, with a very good quality-price ratio!

Absolutely superb experience! We were lucky enough to watch a glass blowing demonstration and have a go at blowing the glass ourselves. The guide and the glass master were both very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this experience to others.

È stato spettacolare vedere la lavorazione del vetro da vivo. Lo staff Matteo, Rocco, Flavio e Giulia sono stati super disponibili e hanno risposto ad ogni domanda e curiosità con piacere e gentilezza!
