Our Licensed native English speaking will meet you at 10.00 AM in the lobby of Your accommodation in Taormina, Giardini Naxos or Letojanni.
After 20 minutes driving with 8 seats air-conditioned minivan you will reach Forza D’Agrò, a real and authentic small Sicilian village. Take a Walking tour of the old town and visit the places where The Godfather movie was played.
After a Walking tour of the village with explanation of Sicilian authentic culture and way of leaving You will drive towards Savoca, the second Sicilian small village where the movie was played. The famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone met the father of his future wife Apollonia. Then walk 5 minutes to reach Saint Lucy Church where they got married. While taking the walking tour Your Guide will introduce you the real history of Sicilian Mafia, how it grows up and spread very fast all around Italy.
You will listen about the real structure (cupola), about its Boss and about the Mafia clan wars to control the territory. You will discover how 2 Sicilian Officers (Falcone and Borsellino) thanks also to some “Mafia repented men”, were very near to discover the truth about Mafia and its collusion with Italian politicians. You will know how it really ended up with them.
After the Walking tour you will stop in a nice elegant food venue. Here you will be served a typical Home-Made Sicilian Plate of Pasta and a Glass of red wine while enjoying authentic panoramic views of town. After light lunch in 30 minutes driving You will be dropped off in your accommodation. Expected return is around 15.00.

This tour was immacutely perfect. Our sweet guide picked us up at our airbnb via a very comfortable Mercedez. We traveled to a quaint little town and enjoyed Coffee and homemade pastry. Thereafter, we strolled/walked on a trail while viewing amazing history of structures, churches, shops, and breathtaking gardens. I loved the church where Al Pachino was married in the movie, The GodFather. We also had a quaint lunch and a wonderful wine tasting experience in a quaint, hilltop restaurant, which was gorgeous, charming, and filled with Sicilian culture. I have been on many Day Trip Tours, however, this tour was the best! It was brilliantly sensitive and very informative! Plus, I really enjoyed the history of the town! Truly, this day trip was far more than a Godfather Movie. It was about culture, art, nature, friendship, and joy! I hope to go again!!

Carlos was amazing. His depth of knowledge of the island was obvious. And his sense of humor kept v us entertained. For those interested in the Godfather history he did not disappoint

Very interesting tour. Small group only six of us. Antonio our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable about the godfather films but also about the history of Italy and Sicily.
Kept us interested throughout the tour.
Lunch was surprisingly good in a very nice non touristy restaurant. Able to provide gluten free meal which was also good.
Really interesting tour would definitely recommend.

The guide, Orazio is a friendly and a pleasent person. The views and the nature is outstanding... I felt like I was part of the movie...hope to visit once again this area in couple of years and for sure I will contact you guys again!

We had a fantastic day with Oratia and the rest of our group.
The information he provided during the drive to Forza d’Agro and to Savoca and back to Taormina was very interesting and enlightening.
He was able to answer any question asked about the locations, the Godfather and the mafia.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience and one that I would urge any visitor to the area to go on 👌🏻
