You will discover Thingvellir which is the old site of the Icelandic parliament, a UNESCO World Heritage Site listed for its amazing nature and rich history.

Pass By: Laugarvatn, Laugarvatn, South Region
Laugarvatn sits next to a beautiful lake of the same name in a geothermally active area. The plumes of super-heated vapor billowing into the air in this area are used by the locals to bake rye bread in the ground!
Stop At: Geysir, Haukadalur Iceland
Witness the amazing world famous Geysir hot spring and its active neighbour Strokkur, erupting up 30 meters high every few minutes.
During this stop here, you can buy food and drinks, including a full lunch if you wish.

Stop At: Gullfoss Waterfall, Blaskogabyggd Iceland
Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall, will greet you with it´s amazing beauty and power.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Kerid Crater, Route 35, Selfoss Iceland
Visit the spectacular Kerid Volcanic Crater, a 3000 year old crater which is 55 meters deep.
Duration: 30 minutes
Pass By: Reykjanes Peninsula, Reykjanes Peninsula
A drive through Reykjanes Peninsula admiring vast lava fields, cone volcanoes and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean before we arrive in the Blue Lagoon.
Stop At: Blue Lagoon, Nordurljosavegur 9, Grindavik 240 Iceland
Take a relaxing bath at the unique and famous Blue Lagoon, enjoy the hot water and fantastic facilities. Included in the tour is the Blue Lagoon Comfort Admission ticket, which in addition to the access offers free use of towel, Silica Mud mask and a drink of your choice.

Please note that Nicetravel offers free pickup and drop off from hotels within Reykjavik. As buses are not allowed to drive in certain areas of Reykjavik centre, your pick up may be from the nearest bus stop. After receiving your pickup information, we will notify you of your exact pick up location.
If you do not require hotel pickup, you can meet the tour at Nicetravel office in Fiskislóð 45M, 101 Reykjavik. Please notify Nicetravel directly if you intend to use this option and be there before 08:20 (if 9 AM departure is chosen) or 9:20 (if 10 AM departure is chosen).
Pickup starts 30 minutes before departure so please be ready at your pickup location 30 minutes before the departure and look out for a bus with NICE travel logos.

If you have a 1 day layover in Iceland, this tour is perfect! You'll get to see some of the main tourist sites and then end your day relaxing in the lagoon. Our guide, Bear, graduated with a degree in geology, and he was able to explain what we were seeing in the landscape in a way that made it interesting even for us non-geology people!

One great trip but be ready to walk. We did 16k steps that day! We went October 2023, our driver/tour guide is funny - I recall him saying, he's cousin to King Charles of UK.
We had an unforgettable experience exploring the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, and Kerid Volcanic Crater. The tour was impeccably organized, allowing me to immerse myself in Iceland's natural wonders hassle-free. From witnessing the powerful cascades of Gullfoss to soaking in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon, every moment was filled with awe and wonder. The highlight was undoubtedly the visit to Kerid Volcanic Crater, where I stood in awe of its striking beauty and learned about its fascinating geological history. Overall, this tour provided a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes and cultural insights, making it a must-do for anyone visiting Iceland.

Bus was a little cramped but the guide was phenomenal. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He made a couple extra stops where we had homemade ice cream and got to pet and feed some Icelandic horses. Would highly recommend

Addi was a brilliant guide. Incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining - a perfect mix of information, fun and quiet time in his narrative. He picked out quick extra stops for us, timed the trip to perfection and clearly loved his country, its history and geography and wanted to share that with us. The bus was very comfortable and the group size small. The stops were amazing and although the day was long - 11 hours- it wasn’t too long as there was lots to see and we were off the coach for a good amount of time. I’d definitely recommend this trip and Nice travel and Addi.

HIghly Recommended! Thorey was our tour guide/driver. She was informative, interesting, and had a good sense of humor. She took great care of us and explained everything that we were seeing. We would love to do another tour with her.
The tour itself was fabulous. We saw so many amazing sites. The finale was at Blue Lagoon. It was a surreal experience. Thank you.

We loved our trip to the golden circle and blue lagoon, our tour guide and bus driver Fillip was very friendly, easy going, super informative and knowledgable about the locations he was taking us. Was an experience of a life time and a day we will never forget

Filip was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He really knew the tour we were on, and he added a couple stops that were of incredible value. We did not hear of anyone going on ANY tour better than this one.

We had 2 adults and 4 children. Walter was the best! We enjoyed our day so much. He was funny, informative and gave us extra stops for being punctual - haha. I would recommend this tour to anyone. We loved everything about it.
