Felt very authentic and the theatre is absolutely beautiful. Very talented dancers and musicians but perhaps a little long! Some people were leaving around the 45 minute mark.

We unfortunately were recommended by staff at the ticket office that Zone D would be a good view. For most of the performance all we saw was the back of peoples heads leaning forward to struggle to see anything.
I play flamenco and hardly recognised any traditional pieces on guitar. There was a lot of repetition resembling nouveau flamenco, jazz type with the violin. Violin player was good though. The Farucca was well presented.
Expected more beautiful costumes but only an early piece with white shawls impressed.
We think it’s better to attend a more intimate performance in Seville or Madrid, or book in early with front seats if you can.Zone D

Not based on performance but audience and the way the staff handled crowds. Seemed super understaffed and people were loud and using their phones. Ruined the experience and it’s better to book on the official website

This show was amazing! The performers (dancers, singers, musicians) were so talented and the theater was beautiful - the staff were helpful when it came to finding our seats and we enjoyed a truly beautiful cultural experience while in Barcelona for a few days - definitely do it while you’re here!

This was an enjoyable show, with fun costumes, music and skilled performers. We especially enjoyed the young guest singer who was invited up at the end to join during the finale. I was, however, surprised there were no pieces with castanets and would have liked to see more dancers … it was surprising to me that the entire show featured the same three dancers.

We had to stand to see the performance …
The seating didn’t allow good visual. The two rows in front of BLOCKED the view. We had to stand to see the performers .

I went to two shows this weekend and Palau and never saw such a disgusting behaviour of the audience than in this two shows (flamenco and Opera).
The Palau allows people to get in after the show starts, so expecting to have to move to allow people to their seat in the middle of the show...
AND PEOPLE USE THEIR PHONE THE ENTIRE TIME!!! I paid to watch the show live, not through the screen of the person in front of me.... And if they are not recording or taking picture, they will be texting, totally ignoring that the screen light can be seen by everyone in the theatre....
Better just get the DVD at the lobby and watched it without annoying people ruining the experience of a live show...

We booked these tickets at the Palau de la Musica a few weeks in advance to get decent seats, which at the time cost a reasonable 35 euro each (Category B).
How you imagine the show to be is exactly it, lots of spanish guitar, lots of fantastic costumes, lots of clapping, shouting and foot tapping, pretty much everything you want from a 90 minute show.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, then it most definitely is your kind of thing.
