The tour was excellent, great information, lots to see and perfectly timed. The train was slow, but nice 1st class accommodations with excellent staff and a guitarist who sang and entertained us.

This was our first tour of this kind and I booked it with some reluctance. My husband and I like the independence of driving ourselves but having never been to the Grand Canyon, we decided to sign up for the tour. Our tour guide Andrea picked us up at 7am as planned. We were 2 of 10 adults who were picked up along 4 stops in Sedona. Andrea was great! Very knowledgeable about Northern Arizona—its geography, history, ecologies, etc. She narrated interesting facts on the 1 1/2 hour drive to Williams. She is charming and entertaining. We boarded the train in Williams for a 2 1/4 hour ride to the Grand Canyon. The train doesn’t travel over about 35 miles per hour but the views are amazing and the service was great in our first class car. We just relaxed and settled in for the ride.We arrived at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center at 11:45, right on the rim. We walked the rim path and grabbed a sandwich. Andrea picked us up at the train depot at 1 pm and drove us to multiple viewing spots around the perimeter of the Grand Canyon where we all got out of the van, walked around and took photos. After leaving the Grand Canyon, we drove to the Navaho Nation outpost for shopping. I do not remember this stop being mentioned on the website when I booked this tour and would definitely have preferred to skip it and go directly back to our hotel. We were dropped off at 5:30 pm — a 10 1/2 hour round trip. Happy we did this tour with Andrea. Will be more careful in understanding all aspects of a tour before signing up for another one.

The views of the Grand Canyon are awesome! And our guide took us to less traveled places for extensive views! JR is the best!! His stories bring Sedona and the Grand Canyon to life!

Brad Hammer provided a wealth of knowledge. He was personable, considerate and took our group to the most majestic views at each stop. Brad made our tour memorable and the highlight of our stay in Sedona.

This is a van tour with a one way train ride in the middle. If you want to take the train to the Grand Canyon, book it yourself and drive to Williams right out of Flagstaff yourself. About 3 hours at the park so if you want more, drive to the park. It’s all day and then some for first timers

Disappointed in train ride. Nothing to see. Advertised as Grand Canyon tour but saw nothing until last stop. Would we do train again. No. Rest of day with guide Andrea was excellent.

We had a wonderful time with Anne. We had never been to the Grand Canyon - truly spectacular. Anne took us to 4 or 5 stops and had great knowledge of the canyon and the areas along the trip. Lunch was lovely. Really enjoyed having the flexibility to stop at many places on our own pace. She also had great local recommendations in Sedona.

My husband and I took this tour with Brad and really enjoyed it. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the train depot in Williams to board the Grand Canyon Railway. Brad helped us secure our tickets and made sure we knew where to meet him once we arrived at the Grand Canyon. We rode in the Luxury Dome car of the train and it was a very relaxing ride. Once at the Grand Canyon, we rejoined Brad and our group and made 4 stops at different points around the Canyon. The scenery was amazing and it was nice having an expert drive us around so we didn't have to navigate the roads ourselves. On the way back to Sedona, we stopped at Cameron Trading Post on a Native American reservation where we could shop for trinkets that were authentically made. Brad was full of great information and we walked away knowing more about the canyon as well as the Native Americans and history of the area. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide J.R., was fantastic! Always informative, extremely knowledgeable of the history of the area with fun little stories of his own experiences. But the best part was his ability to take us to those special places away from the crowds.

There seems to be a little misunderstanding about the excursion. The train ride is only from Williams, AZ to the Grand Canyon. The rest of the trip is by van. Pick up time and location was accurate. I am glad we spent the extra money on the 1st Class car. I did visit the regular car and, as classic as it was, the 1st Class car has these extras: nicer decor, nicer individual seats (regular car had old bench seats), AC, snacks and some narration. All cars had musical entertainment. Van ride was nice. We stopped at a lot of viewpoints at the Grand Canyon rim.
