Our tour guide did a wonderful job of talking about our food and also talking a bit about the feel of Amsterdam. Our tour was one of the highlights of our trip. I would recommend it to my friends.

My husband was off for business so i decided to make the most of my day. What a good way to spend an afternoon. We started with strudel and then went to a deli and tried different sausages. They were local sausages and were delicious. After that we went to a restaurant for a rice table( small Asian bites) . Also very good. Then we went to a cheese shop and sampled local cheeses. Our final stop was a bar where we tried the local drink Ginaveer. Each place offered us beer or wine. Also we got information about Amsterdam and history about WW1 and how locals survived the Natzi infiltration. Very educational. The guide was excellent.

This was the worst food tour I’ve ever been on. For €110/pp we got a slice of apple pie, 3 small pieces of meat at a butcher shop, a chicken skewer and small dish at an Indonesian stop, small stroopwaffle and piece of chocolate, a cheese platter with 4 samples, one bitterball. Hard to believe that they didn’t offer a chance to try herring or eel which are the most popular Dutch foods! Our guide was great and we did this because it was highly rated in a Rick Steves book but they are clearly living off that. Save your money.

Our Guide, Marc, was fantastic. We stopped in local establishments for wine & cheese, beer & sausages, chocolate & stroopwaffels, and more. The walking was good but not too much - many historical sites along the way

The tour was nicely paced. The tastings were delicious! The history was a wonderful addition. We were pleased to have a choice of beer, wine or other. The small group (there were 4 couples on our tour) was a bonus. Would definitely do this tour again and would highly recommend this wonderful taste of Amsterdam!
