Our local driver guide will keep you informed and entertained as we make our ascent up the mountain. At the summit, marvel at the views and enjoy the short guided tour of the Observatory and The Springs lookout walk. Enjoy 30 mins at the summit. On our descent, we arrive at he halfway point - The Springs and enjoy the guided exhibition walk and the short walk to the Western Wilderness Lookout. There is also an opportunity to purchase a hot drink.

Enjoy a brief stop at these historic gardens, set on the banks of the Hobart Rivulet. Wander through the gardens and view the stunning facade of the historic Cascade Brewery and the exterior of the Cascades Female Factory - a one time female prison.

Enjoy a brief orientation of the vibrant city of Hobart as we drive through the city from kunanyi/Mt Wellington on the way to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Enjoy the local history from our experienced driver/guide.

Enjoy free time at one of the oldest botanic gardens in the world. The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is home to historic plant collections and significant trees, many dating back to the nineteenth century. Set on a gentle slope offering sweeping views of the Derwent River, these tranquil gardens are a must see. There is also an opportunity to purchase lunch, hot drinks or an icecream as you wander.

Stop At: Richmond, Richmond, Yarra, Greater Melbourne, Victoria
Our local driver guide will take you on an orientation tour of Richmond Village and drop you at the entrance to the Historic Richmond Gaol. Step back in time explore the original gaol buildings and rooms and even experience the solitary confinement cells. Admission is not compulsory, however a discount is offered for all our guests. Enjoy free time to explore the village at your own pace.

Hotel pick-ups commence approximately 40 minutes before listed start time/tour departure time. If you selected a hotel pick-up, you will receive a separate email from the tour operator. Please check your emails for the confirmed hotel pick-up time. You will receive the email within 24hrs of booking. For bookings made after closing time for the following day, you will receive your email confirming pick up details the following morning, at least 2 hrs prior to departure. Please be waiting at your hotel pick-up location 5 mins prior to your confirmed pick-up time. Not all pick-up locations are directly at the hotel. The exact pick-up location will be provided in the email sent from the tour operator. If a hotel has not been selected, your pick-up will be confirmed as Brooke St Pier, 12 Franklin Wharf, Hobart (central departure point) at 9.00am.

Mount Wellington was wonderful, and we were lucky enough to have a fine clear day. Would rate it as 5 star. The rest of the trip was disappointing. Needs more tour guide interaction.

We did a Mt Wellington/Richmond tour recently. Very expensive for what it was. Nothing included compared to other day trips. Could not hear the driver on the Mt Wellington part of the trip. The Richmond part the driver seemed to be in a hurry. Some of the things listed we didn’t see and the optional things were not offered.

We had booked the tour for Thursday and got a message to change to Friday which we did but there was some confusion when we got picked up, Tim the tour guide was amazing and sorted it out for us. Mt Wellington was amazing with stunning views. We didn’t get to stop at Cascade brewery and only had 30 mins at botanical garden instead of 90 mins as stated in the tour.
Richmond was a nice historical town enjoyed our time there
