I really enjoyed this hands on experience. Mika presented really interesting information about the significance and history of temari, before guiding me in decorating my own.

Such a great class. Mika was lovely, patient and kind. Mika gave us a detailed history on temari balls and showed us some of her amazing works. We were then guided through the process step by step of making our own temari balls. We only had enough time to finish one half of the ball but she provided us with the supplies to finish the other side (which I have completed). Mika is very thoughtful and organized. The whole class was great and very calm. It was such a nice and relaxing experience. My Sons and Husband really enjoyed this class as well. We highly recommend this class.

I love Temari embroidery ball l that I made with Mika. And I was excited when I get into the lesson room, because there were colorful yarns on the table. These were so beautiful.

Mika was a great host!
I'm not the best at crafts, but really enjoyed this experience!
She made me choose the color of the materials and the pattern then taught me how to embroider the ball.
It was so much fun to make it even I'm not good at making this kind of things.
I also enjoyed knowing Japanese culture through this experience.
I even wanted to make more balls!!
If you want to experience traditional Japanese hand crafts, you should definetely try this!
Highly recommend!
