Pass By: Duck Brook Bridge, Duck Brook Road, Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, ME 04609
Your tour will begin at Hull's Cove Visitor Center, where you will climb up Paradise Hill to enjoy a stunning view of Bar Harbor, Porcupine Island, and Frenchman's Bay. Next, you will proceed towards the east end of Witch Hole Pond, until you reach Duck Brook Bridge. This section of the Carriage Roads spans over 2.5 miles, and there is a restroom available at this location.
Stop At: Eagle Lake Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, ME
Once we pass the Duck Brook Bridge, our tour operator usually takes a break at a beaver pond where we can observe a large community of the rodents actively working on their house and dam. After that, we continue our journey towards Eagle Lake, where we head down the west side of the lake. The distance between Duck Brook bridge and the south end of Eagle Lake is 4 miles.

Pass By: Jordan Pond, Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, ME 04660
After passing Eagle Lake, you will soon reach the west side of Jordan Pond, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Penobscot and Pemetic mountains. During the tour, you will stop to see the West Branch Jordan Stream Bridge, Cliffside Bridge and the Amphitheater Bridge. At the southern end of the pond, you will have a chance to take a 20-minute break at Jordan Pond House or, if you prefer, use the time to ride on a short loop down to the Cobblestone Bridge. This section of the ride covers a distance of 6 miles.
Stop At: Jordan Pond House Restaurant, 2928 Park Loop Rd, Seal Harbor, ME 04675, USA
There is no admission fee, and visitors can stay for about 15 minutes. While there won't be enough time to dine, there is a quick grab-and-go food service, a gift shop, and restrooms available.

Stop At: Bubble Pond, Park Loop Road Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, ME
After leaving Jordan Pond House, you will need to ride an ebike for 5 miles on the Carriage Roads until you reach the north end of Bubble Pond. This particular section of the trail is very serene and picturesque, with dense forests, streams, and ponds. There is a restroom available at this location.

Pass By: Hulls Cove Visitor Center, 25 Visitor Center Rd, Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, ME 04609
The last part of the ebike adventure through Acadia National Park Carriage Roads is around 5 miles long. When you leave Bubble Pond, you'll head up to the east side of Eagle Lake, where you can enjoy some afternoon sun. You'll then ride along Breakneck Pond and the west side of Witch Hole Pond, before finally descending from the Carriage Roads and returning to your starting point.

Had a great tour on day 1 of the opening of the Carriage roads for 2024! Enjoyed all of the info learned about our venue and the guide was sensational. First time using the E-bikes and highly recommend them as the way to go. Thanks again.

I only had one day visit Acadia and as a solo female I wanted to feel safe exploring so booked this tour. I can honestly say it's one of the best experiences of my life. The ride allowed me to see smell and hear the park whilst learning from my amazing guide Marty.

The sights were beautiful and having a guide to show you and take you by spots kept the tour rolling on schedule. Getting to see the park from the bike was so much better than driving the park loop. Also the e-bikes make the experience very doable for most.

I would highly recommend this tour. It was gorgeous and the ebikes allowed us to really venture around the park with our amazing tour guide, Marty. She was fabulous, personable and knowledgeable. She took us to some amazing sights that we may have not found on our own on the carriage trails and the bridal trail(very tranquil)!!!!

Marty was a great guide. Tiding bikes through the carriage roads where you don’t have to worry about cars was wonderful. And the scenery and changing leaves were really special. Highlight of our trip for sure!

It was a beautiful Autumn day. The guide Marty was very informative & showed us some special places that were both natural & man made. A few times, we parked our bikes and walked to really special spots. The E-bike made the 20+ mile ride easy for moderately fit people.
If you have already driven Acadia Park Loop, this is a GREAT way to see the rest of Acadia!
Unfortunately, we didn’t know until the night before that the starting point was at Acadia Visitor Center (2.5 miles from the cruise terminal) and we had to make arrangements to get there. No taxis nor Uber service in Bar Harbor in the morning. We walked to the park and had a very kind couple from our group take us back to Bar Harbor.

Our guide, Marty, was a great part of our positive experience. She had safety as her first priority. She took us to some of her favorite stops and a loop that we both enjoyed to the max. She shared history as well as facts about the park, the bridges, etc.
We had a marvelous day of weather.
Our only drawback is for others to really understand the power of the Ebikes if you have not ridden before - AND the importance of avoiding skidding out on the gravel roads. We are experienced riders and were totally concerned for those who had not even ridden bikes since they were children!
Our TREK Ebikes at home are opposite of the models chosen by this company. My bike seat moved down on me as I rode. The speed lurched and stopped rather than maintained the speed or level I was on. That in itself, was a danger. It is in the best interest of the company and patrons to have stronger model of bikes and provide more than 5 minutes of orientation to the bike before everyone takes off on their own.
We could not be more pleased that we chose to be with Marty as a guide. She was a delight all the way.....The park was full of color and totally enjoyable every minute we spent in the park.

This was a wonderful guided trip by a very knowledgeable guide. Marti was incredibly intuitive about our group. I hadn't ridden a bike for 20 years and had never ridden an ebike, but she gave me the pep talk when we were getting started, and that was reassuring I can't say enough about Marti! She gave us the history of the park and showed us what I would consider to be many secret vistas in the park. Also, she had enormous patience for our group and always had our safety foremost. Thank you for a truly memorable experience.
