My girlfriend and I had the time of our lives on the hike. The Tongass forest is awe-inspiring. The trail was easy to traverse despite it being slightly wet, and the guide (Reid) was very kind. We are glad that we got out of our comfort zone and did the guided hike!

My recent hiking adventure was nothing short of magical. Under the guidance of Reid, who was not just a tour guide but a truly exceptional hiking companion, the experience was elevated to extraordinary heights. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the trail brought the journey alive in a way I couldn’t have imagined. The landscape, adorned with a pristine blanket of snow, transformed the setting into a winter wonderland, reminiscent of the rugged beauty of Alaska. This added an exhilarating ‘pop’ to the entire experience. The tranquility of the snow-covered path, combined with Reid’s engaging storytelling, created an ambiance that was both serene and invigorating. This hike wasn’t just a walk through nature; it was a memorable journey that left a lasting imprint on my heart.

The hike was beautiful (even in the rain!), and as a bonus the guide knew all sorts of cool facts and history of the area! My girlfriend was a little worried about the bears, but the guide had bear spray and with the group we all felt well-protected and perfectly comfortable. Overall a Great excursion!!
