Experience the Geirangerfjord and its majestic waterfalls from sea level with a small group of kayakers, accompanied by a guide. The Seven Sisters Tour starts at our Kayak Center at Homlong. We give you a safety briefing and fit you out with the paddling gear you will need. From there you paddle down the fjord until you reach the spot in between the famous waterfalls "The Seven Sisters" and "The Suitor" - a great place to capture the unique views of the fjord with a camera! Your guide will take good care of you and provide you with interesting facts about the Geirangerfjord and its surroundings. Trip duration varies depending on the paddlers in the group and the conditions on the day. It is normal that the tour takes anywhere between 3.5 to 4.5 hours.

Really enjoyed our Seven Sisters kayaking tour. Duration was around 3 hours and we found it moderately strenuous. Views were spectacular and our guide clearly took safety seriously (he was often warning people away from the rocks).
Very professional bunch here and we felt safe travelling with them. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking to see the waterfalls.

So good! A really great way to see the fjord and use some energy. We got really close to the 7 sisters and a couple of other waterfalls. Our guide was full of fun information and super nice and friendly. Great quality equipment. Highly recommended!

Website lies. Says they have plenty of kayaks available for rental, but they do not. Kayaks are only available if you’re able to book their expensive guided tours.

We wanted to rent a double kayak for 3h (815NOK) without any guide or "specials".
The day before we asked the guys at the information if we should make a reservation, but it seems like a rental reservation is not possible, so they told us to arrive as early as possible.
We were the first car that arrived in the morning, but few minutes after us, a group that had booked a guided tour arrived.
The guides at the kayak centre decided to not care about us anymore and only prepare the group for their guided tour, we were told to wait until they finish the group.
In the beginning we were told that it might take 20min, after asking again 30min later, they told us that it will take another 30-40 min because other groups with guided tours will be considered before us.
After another 45min, we have noticed that again they will start with another group before helping us, so we decided to leave after wasting more then 1 hour waiting because it was obvious that we would not get any chance to paddle during the next 30min.
So after all, you should not try to rent any kayak at Geiranger Kayak Centre because the don't give a sh** about people who did not book a guided tour.

My husband and I did the Geiranger kayak tour and hike Skageflå. Lucas was an excellent guide who had a deep knowledge about the fjord as well as the surrounding area. We Wouk’s highly recommend.

The tour was great, we enjoyed it a lot. Our guide George was very nice.
We had beautiful weather, that made the experience even better. There is no better way to explore the fjord than with a kayak. It was very relaxed.
We recommend doing a Kayak Tour on the Geirangerfjord.

We hired a kayak from Geiranger Kayak centre in June. We didn't do one of their guided tours, we just hired the kayak for 4 hours by ourselves. The assistant made sure we were kitted out with life jacket, kayak skirt and a map of the fjord and gave us a quick demo of what to do but we were keen to just get out there and give it a go!
We got to the seven sisters waterfall in just over an hour which surprised us. So we enjoyed just floating around on the fjord for a while in the glorious sunshine! We picked a warm, sunny and very calm day and it was so enjoyable!
The boats create small waves which are fun to kayak into and over! Tip: kayak into the wave face on, don't let the wave hit you side on as it rocks the kayak!
Kayaking is a great way of exploring the fjord and really experiencing just how enormous the fjords really are!

We had the best experience kayaking with Geiranger kayak centre. Our plans changed due to unforeseen circumstances and Katrin, from the ticket office, was so accommodating and enabled us to get out on the fjord by providing us with some bikes to make sure we arrived on time. Gordon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and made the experience unique. He even provided us with some great photos. It will certainly be a highlight to our honeymoon. If you have the opportunity to book, do not hesitate!
