Our tour begins in the City of Westminster, the center of British government and power. We'll visit one of the capital’s top-rated attractions: Westminster Abbey. Led by a licensed Blue Badge Guide, our small group of up to 20 participants can beat the crowds and enjoy priority group entry to the Abbey, thus skipping the long line for individual visitors. This will give us more time to discover the Abbey's royal heritage as the site of royal weddings, coronations and burials, and to admire the beautiful Gothic nave, royal chapels and the Poets’ Corner.

We'll explore the beating heart of London, learning about the British government and politics as we admire the magnificent Palace of Westminster - home to the Houses of Parliament and the iconic Big Ben. The guide will also show us many monuments to important historical figures, such as Sir Winston Churchill and Mahatma Gandhi. We’ll then head to the main gate of Buckingham Palace, to admire the exterior of one of the world's most famous royal residences and to hear fascinating stories about the late Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana of Wales, Queen Victoria and other inspiring members of the British royal family.

We recommend arriving at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts, as latecomers won't be able to join the group or receive a refund.

Skip-the-line tickets to Westminster Abbey give you access to a priority entrance for groups. Entry during masses and special events is restricted. It is a place of worship so all visitors, including infants, should keep noise to a minimum. Access for prams is limited.
Tickets to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Palace and other attractions are not included in this tour.
There is no luggage storage so please do not bring extra clothing, umbrellas, large bags, suitcases, scooters, etc.
Pets are not allowed.
Be aware that it is a walking tour, so you should be in good condition and wear comfortable shoes.
This tour is not suitable for people with disabilities.

Guide made the tour. She was full of knowledge about London's history and told us many great stories. I really appreciated her commentary on the kings and queens of England. Her passion came through.

While seeing Westminster Abby and Big Ben was great, we didn’t get time to stop and take photos at Buckingham Palace. We felt very rushed along Buckingham Palace and had to run to catch up at times because we took a few photos. It was also very hard to hear our guide during certain parts of the tour like outside Westminster. We wish she would have had a microphone at that time. Our tour guide also gave some of her personal political opinions with the royal family and it sometimes made things uncomfortable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable though and we learned a lot.

Guide had great trivia info. It was not a Big Ben tour though. It predominantly focused on Westminster Abbey and St. James Park and some Buckingham Palace.

The tour guide was exceptional, and the pace was perfect, and her knowledge made the experience memorable and educational
We considered going on a hop on hop on the bus, but we are so glad we got the up close and personal experience
