Make your way to the meeting point in downtown Anchorage in the afternoon and meet your tour “hoperator,” who will give you an informative overview of Alaska’s beer culture from a local's perspective before driving you to your first of three included tasting tours.

Get your taste buds ready for Alaska’s best brews as you visit pioneering breweries and and trendy tap rooms. In all, you'll visit 3 of the best breweries in Anchorage. Listen as your guide tells you about the history of Alaskan beers, the founding brewery fathers, and what makes Alaska’s beer culture stand out. Take in the awe-inspiring scenery of Anchorage’s dramatic skyline, with soaring mountains as the natural backdrop.

Stop into Anchorage’s oldest brewery and taste why it was medaled at the World Beer Cup. Enjoy the chef’s selection of appetizers as you taste the beers. Sip on some hoppy goodness at a newcomer to Alaska’s beer scene. Then finish at one of the fastest growing breweries in the state. By the end of the tour, you’ll have a good idea of what makes Alaskan beer great, and what makes Anchorage such an appealing city.

Three very different breweries: excellent education of brewing process to start with 5+ samples; charcuterie board with second; and intimate time with owner at the eclectic third. Many wonderful tastes!

We had a great time. Bryan was awesome and informative. If you like beer, I recommend it, you will not be disappointed. The tour at King St. brewery was one of the more in-depth tours I have had, and they had a really good cherry sour and other great beers as well. We had an amazing charcuterie board at Midnight Sun Brewery and the beer was funny and delicious. At Cynosure Brewing, they had a fantastic Bitter that I wish we could have sent home.

The tour was really fun and the price was great given it was a 4 hour tour, all transportation included, along with lots of beer, and a charcuterie board midway though. Bryan and all the brewers shared tons of info along the way. Definitely recommend this tour - and will go back to the 3 breweries to enjoy their tasting rooms!

Had a great time. The beer is great and varied you get to sample the ones you personally are interested in. You also get to talk to some very knowledgeable and fun people in the business and see the actual production area. Tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and takes care of his customers. Van is big and comfy. It seats 15 and we had 6, so experience may differ slightly in bigger groups, but i think our size was normal. I would highly recommend.

This was a fantastic experience and if you are a beer lover don’t miss it. Our guide, Brian picked us up at the hotel and it ended up being a private tour for just the two of us. Brian is very nice and really knows his beer. We went to King Street, Midnight Sun and Cynosure Breweries. At King Street we actually spent close to an hour talking to the owner Shane. We also met and had a beer with the couple that owned Cynosure, Clark & Cindy. I had a LOT of beer and got a little drunk. It was so much fun.

Spent a great rainy Sunday exploring three local breweries. Each one was different and all employees were welcoming and knowledgeable. Would never have gone to all these breweries without this tour and would have missed out! Highly recommend.

This was a great tour. Bryan has made great relationships with the local brewers, so we were treated very well. We had the scheduled tastings at all of the three places, but if we wanted something extra, Bryan made sure we got it. He was very accommodating. The first stop was very technical and informative, so there wasn't much time to interact with the group. At the second and third stop, we got to simply enjoy the beer and food, and our group started to interact. By the end of the third stop, we were really enjoying each other's stories and trading pictures of the experience (I'm sure the beer helped). I would strongly suggest this tour.
