The Aruba Ostrich Farm welcomes you to one of the largest living species in the world. Visitors are encouraged to partake in a guided tour of the farm, inhabited by both ostriches and their flightless Australian relatives, emus. The tour provides the opportunity to learn about the natural behavior and survival instincts of these amazing creatures through detailed information as well as personal encounters with the birds.

Get the opportunity to mingle with some real locals at the Donkey Sanctuary. Founded in 1997 as a non-profit and completely volunteer run organization, their mission is simple. Save the Donkeys! Although not originally native to the small island of Aruba, they have existed here for 500 years having been the primary mode of transportation until cars began to be introduced on the island in increasing numbers. At that point, many Arubans no longer had the need for their formerly beloved donkey, and sadly in the 1970’s, a dangerous and rapidly spreading illness nearly caused their extinction leaving behind a population of only 20 wild donkeys.

Visit Philip’s Animal Garden. After years of saving and adopting abused and abandoned animals, Philip Merryweather has turned his love for exotic animals into a world-class shelter and rehabilitation center. Philip’s Animal Garden is offering up interactive and educational tours, where you can enjoy an up close and personal experience with over 50 species of exotic animals from around the world. Visitors are invited to see, touch and even feed some of the garden’s exotic inhabitants.

Tour guide/driver was very friendly, informative, and on time. Tour bus was not airconditioned, as advertised, however it was open air and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful day. Free bottled water offered often. The staff at all 3 stops were friendly and fun. Overall wonder morning spent.

Amazing time! We got picked up on time and went to the Donkey Sanctuary, the Emu/Ostrich Sanctuary and the Overall Animal Sanctuary. Make sure to pack an extra reusable water and a couple of snacks as lunch Is not included. 2/3 places you could buy food but we didn't have enough time so definitely bring some snacks. Great driver and great tours! Got to pet and feed so many animals!

The tour was very informative. I appreciated the flexibility to explore the vast amount of animals present at the final stop of the tour. The tour guide was patient and kind and the tour was a great experience overall.

This was a great tour. I LOVED feeding and petting the animals. We got some great pictures for our scrapbook and learned a lot about the care of animals that we didn't know. Camino the 3 legged donkey was my favorite, I'm so glad he was rescued!

Need a new bus . It was old , noisy and rattled a lot. Could feel every bump on the road. Could not hear the drivers commentary at all in the bus. The ostrich farm guide was very good but that was about it!

Fantastic experience! My girlfriend and I (from the US) took this tour on our second day in Aruba and it couldn't have gone better. We scheduled our pickup for a local hotel (Eagle Aruba Resort) and pickup/drop-off was a breeze. Great tour guide and the animals were well taken care of and the ride around the island was very nice. 10/10!

One of the greatest places on earth!! We loved the donkey sanctuary. A must see!! Feeding the donkeys, ostrich, goats and Monkeys was amazing. Also a great way to make a donation to a wonderful place so they can keep doing great work.

It is mainly meant for kids. Both my 11 year old daughter and 4 year old son had a great time. All the attractions were good.

We loved the farms themselves and were delighted to be able to explore the island a bit with a guided bus tour. The bus itself was in terrible shape and very late; during the period where it didn’t show up, we tried hard to reach Viator for support and were unable to. When we did, we were told it was too late and they could provide no feedback to the tour operator not could we receive a credit or future discount. That part is fine—-but we mostly needed support in the moment and we did not receive it.
