Half Day Browns Canyon Rafting Adventure

This was a trip for the bucket list. While we did tip the raft during one of the class 3 rapids, the experience under the raft was quite scary, and the pics were priceless!

A beautiful day and a perfect temperature, combined with a rushing river and an expert guide make for a memorable experience. Our guide, Craig, put our four-person raft team right at ease with easy-to-understand instructions concerning what to do and what not to do should one of us go overboard. I had done two previous rafting trips on other rivers and had been tossed out of the raft both times, so I was a bit apprehensive being assigned the same right-front seat that had previously been my nemesis. Craig called out the commands for us to paddle in a clear, loud-enough voice to be heard above the roar of the rapids. His commands were timely and authoritative enough to give us confidence that we were in good hands on that river. And nobody fell out of the raft!

Our guide Aaron was awesome and we had a blast! 10/10 will come back and do numbers. Loved the entire experience

We had a great time on this rafting trip, the water was at a great level for september and we were able to hit lots of good class 2 & 3 rapids. Our guide KK was the best, she made a great trip even better. I highly recommend you try to join her raft if you can. The canyon had incredible views the entire length of the trip and they caught some awesome actions shots of us.

This was one of the best Whitewater rafting experiences we have ever done. We were lucky to have plenty of water flow in late August! Spencer was our amazing guide and I would highly recommend this activity. After the ride, he gave us some great recommendations for drinks and food.

Our guide Sydney was awesome 👏 she made us feel so comfortable for us first timers. It’s was beautiful out there I can’t wait to do it again. Hands down so much fun and great place to do it at

My fiancé and I have never been white water rafting before so we did the beginner/intermediate and it was a perfect introduction! Our guide Ben was awesome & accommodated everyone throughout the trip. He was great at explaining everything & teaching us how to raft through the rapids! We did the half day which was a perfect amount of time in my opinion. Such a fun trip with amazing views throughout Browns Canyon!

The view was beautiful. The rapids were so much fun. The guide we had Chad was the best. He will never forget Big B(Buzz) and the new name he got from him. Chad was the best. We were with my parents and aunt and uncle all over the age of 80 then it was me and my husband. Chad was funny and a lot of fun. Thank you Chad for taking care of our group

The half day trip was amazing. The water levels were super fun and Bridgette was a blast as captain of the boat! Would recommend to anyone visiting Buena Vista. Overall the whole process was smooth. The staff were awesome and personable.

We were nervous as it was our first time rafting but our guide Justin explained everything very clearly and made us feel safe, by the end we felt like pros! What a great trip, would definitely go with American expeditions again and would love to try some class 4 rapids next.
