Khasab is the capital of Musandam and it’s popular for Fjords, Coral Reef, colored fishes and Dolphin. The sea here is famous for its rich treasure of seafood and also for its beautiful crystal clear water that provides an ideal place for snorkeling and diving. Going on a Dhow Cruise is a fantastic way to see the spectacular Fjords and the surrounding scenery. Our Dhow Cruise takes you to the Khor Sham fjord where the natural community of dolphins are welcoming you to the silence of sea and we do have an anchoring for snorkel and swimming near to the historical Telegraph Island. Mountain Safari
Mountain safari tour Buckle up for a 4x4 adventure to 6,000 feet above sea level. From Khasab city, we’ll drive up into the mountains of the Musandam Peninsula, making pit-stops at viewpoints along the way. The village of Sayah is on the cards, too. This picturesque hamlet tumbles down the hillside, and is still occupied by desert-dwelling Bedouin people.

The teams of Arab Expedition Tourism and Musandam Dhow Tours made our visit to Musandam unforgettable. With the combined cruise and mountain safari you can explore the nicest parts Musandam has on offer. I was very easy to make to arrangements and staff was very responsive. Additional transport arrangements could be made at the last minute without much problems. Pickups were always on-time by the local staff and the guides, both on the boat and in the car, were very helpful and did their best to explain as much as possible. Highly recommended company!

We got picked up in Dubai by a lovely and knowledgeable driver, Vibin, and travelled to khasab (2.5-3hours) to get on the dhow for a 3hour boat trip.
The fjords are beautiful and the dolphins swimming in the wake of the boat was awesome. We stopped for a swim at telegraph Island before heading back to khasab. Another driver, Akhil picked us up for lunch at a local grill that serveds really delicious grilled meats/seafood with rice or breads.
After lunch, Akhil took us up for the mountain safari to see the gulf of Oman, the petroglyphs on the mountain top and the stone carvings. It's beautiful scenery. (3 hours)
We grabbaed a quick takeaway of shwarmas at the grill restaurant before heading back to Dubai with Vibin(the first driver) . It was a long day with a lot of car time but it was a lovely day out.

Nous avons réservé la journée special day trip via whastapp. Le contact s'est fait très facilement et mon interlocuteur était très réactif. Il a été convenu que l'on passerait nous prendre à notre hôtel à Dubaï pour nous emmener à Khasab. Le jour J, le conducteur est arrivé à l'heure précise, le trajet s'est déroulé sans problème, nous avons été assisté au passage de la frontière pour les formalités douanières. La croisière le matin fut un moment magique et apaisant, d'autant plus que ce jour là nous n'étions que 3. Le personnel était au petit soin avec nous, nous proposant, thé, café, boissons et fruits. Après le déjeuner, nous sommes partis pour un safari au djebel Hareem. Nous avons été impressionné par les paysages, c'était magnifique. La route était chaotique d'autant plus qu'il avait fortement plut quelques jours avant, cela secoué mais notre guide est un conducteur expérimenté, qui a maitrisé la route tout le long de notre safari, à aucun moment nous n'avons craint pour notre sécurité. La journée fut exceptionnelle, et l'agence s'est montrée très professionnelle, très sérieuse, réactive et à notre écoute. Je recommande sans hésiter.
