Itinerary
We will meet you at gate ABCD on Marina De Lagos 5 minutes before departure and take you to the boat for our welcome briefing. We set off and cruise gently down through the marina entrance and the historic channel leading into the awaiting Atlantic where our first location awaits as we discover the amazing caves & grottos which have made Lagos so famous. After visiting the caves we stop for the first time at a secluded beach location and anchor to allow you to swim and snorkel and to enjoy some chilled refreshments. We then cruise you across the Lagos bay at speed to another beautiful location Praia De Vau, for some restful swimming and paddle boarding or, snorkeling and for you to enjoy a hot shower afterwards. Finally, we return to Lagos at the end of the afternoon. We have an excellent blue tooth music system, so you can listen to your own tunes or the boats pre recorded sunshine grooves ! There is a good working Wi Fi so bring your camera phones. We look forward very much to meeting you !

Max and Peter were excellent captain and guide respectively. Boat was in super condition and we enjoyed paddle boarding, swimming, refreshing drinks and great snacks. Will definitely hire the boat again.

We did a kayak tour last year and being a large group we wanted something more personal and more time in the sea. Pete and Max were brilliant with ensuring we were well taken care of on the boat.
We had kids ranging from
10-14 and they all loved paddle boarding for the first time and snorkelling. We have many fond memories and will definitely be back.
Chris was so responsive on email and was a truly wonderful trip

Chartering a boat is always our splurge of any vacation and it rarely disappoints. You see a country’s coastline from the other side. It also gives you a great feel for Lagos roots as a port for fish, spices and slave trading and now thankfully only fish remain. It was the first slave trading port in Europe that was also the first to stop the trade!
We slowly drifted out of the beautiful marina past the market learning about Lagos’ rich history. Then we explores the grottos along the coast up until Porto Mos where we could see and appreciate the house we were renting from the coast. We snorkeled a little but very little marine life along the grottos. We paddled boarded through little caves and then enjoyed the yacht life with sparkling wine, cheese and charcuterie before heading back to the marina. A perfect late afternoon on the water.

The BEST day on the Ayer with Max and Pete!!! Do not miss this activity - a beautiful (huge!) boat from Lagos. We had the best time (it was just me and my husband, the boat could fit 8-10!!). We had amazing wine, snacks, paddle boarded, even got a brief history lesson about Lagos. The guys were epic, so caring and thoughtful and really just want you to have a good time.
Chris was a great communicator upon booking, and I would highly highly recommend this to anyone looking for a gorgeous, fun, wine filled day in Lagos!!!!!

We had an amazing afternoon with Max and Pete exploring the coastline west of Lagos! They were very knowledgeable about the area and the history plus just a lot of fun! The drinks were plenty and no shortage of nibbles. I would highly recommend…a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. Can’t wait to do it again!
