Pass By: Potrerillos Dam, Cacheuta, Mendoza Argentina
We will leave Mendoza City to head for Potrerillos, a mountain village surrounded by a wonderful landscape and an impressive dam which takes its name.

Pick up is only from hotels located in Mendoza city area and Chacras de Coria. If you are staying in an Airbnb or if you didn't select hotel pick up please contact us to coordinate the nearest meeting point.
The return time will be selected the same day of the activity. It can be at 15:30hs or 18:00hs and the decision depends on the adventure base.

Activity duration: 1 hour of river navigation, half day excursion
Note: no experience necessary. however, be aware that during the summer months, the rapids on the river are Class 3/4
Important: Although the activity is half day, the transfer returns only in the afternoon; You can take the afternoon off at Potrerillos or combine this with some other adventure activity
Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
Infants must sit on laps
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
Wear comfortable clothes, summing suit, towel, sunglasses and sun protection, mineral water.
To preserve the safety of passengers against weather contingencies, the suspension of the service will be informed even on the same day of the activity, with the possibility of rescheduling or receiving the full refund of the money.

Our rafting and kayak adventure on the Mendoza River was an unforgettable journey from start to finish. Kevin was an awesome guide. Trip Advisor did a good job of describing the excursion. The pickup from the hotel was on time and finalized with confirmation calls in the am. My wife who does not swim was very scared and Kevin did all that he could to ensure she had a enjoyable and safe trip while ensuring the rest of the rafters were able to enjoy the thrill of rafting themselves. I highly recommend enjoying the food that they had. It is high quality at a good price.

The activity itself was a fraction underwhelming, approx 30-40 minutes in the water. But over a 7 hour duration.
The wait for the transport back is over 2-3 hrs. And in my opinion not necessary. The activity was well organised and all of the staff were lovely. Just underwhelming and I personally don’t think it’s worth the money.

Really enjoyed this tour, everyone was so nice and our guide made us feel so welcome and safe even though I could not speak Spanish. The staff made us feel very welcome. We had a great day. Professionally run, friendly and affordable. Loved it

The rafting was amazing! I don't know where to start. The guides were very very knowledge and gave us good instructions to keep all safe. We had a beautiful clear day the river rapids were very strong, I believe a class IV so I was told. On the river our guide was awesome and we had alot of fun and we stayed safe. I will spare you all the details while on the water so you can experience it yourself. We brought our GoPro to capture the whole thing and even bought the souvenir DVD pictures. After the rafting, we relaxed at the base and enjoyed a hearty lunch overlooking the river. I will do this again if I am in Mendoza in the future.

Really fun day! In reality the actual rafting experience was very short - maybe one hour in total. There was a lot of hanging around afterwards, waiting for the bus to take us back to town. But worth it for the rafting experience itself.

One of the highlights of our 21 day Chile/Patagonia/Argentina vacation. The tour group was outstanding including pick up and drop off from hotel, to their home base and making it feel comfortable, to the safety factor they followed for the rafting adventure, having plenty of gear wet suits, helmets, boots, etc to choose from. Although we did not take advantage of it - hiking and zip line was also available. After our raft adventure we enjoyed a very nice lunch cost extra before leaving. Very good food and a nice variety to choose from. I am 72 years old and did it after breaking 5 ribs to months earlier from a fall from a ladder. You can do it to and enjoy a great adventure.
