This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Hobart, Hobart, Greater Hobart, Tasmania
Sailors will see the beautiful city of Hobart, its historic docks and surrounding mountains and forests from the large sheltered harbour. Sometimes there will be other yachts racing on the harbour and sometimes we will be visited by curious dolphins and seals. Very occasionally we will see whales and orca.
Sailors will experience what it is really like sailing aboard a large ocean-going yacht, and they can take turns on the winches or even try their hand at the wheel if they like.

Amazing morning, crew were wonderful and I even got to steer! Scones and cheese were delicious. So much fun! Great value for a fabulous experience

My wife and I had a fantastic time on board Helsal. Before our trip, Mark was extremely accommodating regarding dates and booking changes. On the trip our skipper, Barry, and crew, Christina and Negala, allowed us to do as much or little as we liked including steering and hoisting sails. We had freshly baked scones soon after setting off and a cheese platter later. During the trip we saw seals and plenty of bird life. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Baz and his crew, Christina and Grant, assisted by good weather and winds, provided us with a fabulous sailing experience. My wife needed assistance getting on and off the boat and they willingly provided it. I was able to get a “shot of a lifetime” photo of me helming a Sydney to Hobart yacht. The complimentary scones and cheese and biscuits were an added bonus. Baz showed us where we crossed the finish line of the Sydney to Hobart and all future finishes will have a special meaning as a result. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I would highly recommend the afternoon sailing trip to anyone looking for a fun but relaxing activity. Mark did an amazing job of making it a memorable experience. He showed us different landmarks around Hobart and even let us steer the boat. Christina and Ruby, his crew, did a great job as well. The snacks were delicious and it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. It was a small group so felt intimate and was a great value for the money. Perfect way to spend an afternoon.

This has been one of my top experience of Tasmania, not just being on my first time on a sail boat, but the crew were relaxed, funny and give out historical knowledge as well as local knowledge from mark our captain...growning up in the oceans of Tasmania. We had a great group of people that were in our tour that made the experience feel like a day on the water with friends. Definitely would recommend.

An absolutely beautiful afternoon spent with Mark and crew, we would highly recommend this experience when in Hobart. From start to finish Mark was very accomodating and informative over the course of the afternoon. We want to do an overnight experience now !!!

We very much enjoyed the sailing trip and highly recommend it to anyone that likes sailing. The captain and crew were friendly and helpful and overall did a great job.
For the best experience, we suggest that passengers get up onto the deck and participate in the steering, etc and not stay in the center seating area which has limited viewing.
