we drive through the bountiful TukiTuki valley and stop for photo opportunities along the way see the animals' grazing and lush farmland whilst our experienced guide points out the best features including orchards and vineyards
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Te Mata Peak, Tuki Tuki 4294, New Zealand
we will drive right to the top of this great feature in the landscape 399 meters above sea-level and you get to take your photos from the top of this very steep landmark our guide will point out the features of the landscape that can be seen from this panoramic views above Hawes bay

Stop At: Arataki Honey Visitor Centre, 66 Arataki Road, Havelock North 4157 New Zealand
our guide will take you through this tasting experience and see the live bees in their hives that have a window that enables the visitor to look right into the hive and see the bees working up close also a great opportunity to purchase local products and honey

Stop At: Telegraph Hill Olivery, 1279 Howard Street, Hastings 4122 New Zealand
we take you to this boutique Olivary to taste the fine products they produce and enable you to purchase the products if you wish or just hug an olive tree
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Te Mata Figs, 205 Napier Road, Havelock North 4180 New Zealand
we take you to this great Figgery and cafe to taste the fig produces produced here and if you wish to purchase from their cafe coffee or ice-cream or even a snake to help through the rest of the tour

Stop At: Oak Road, Akina, Hastings 4122, New Zealand
we will visit the Historic Oak Avenue that was planted in 1874 by J.D.Ormond as a drive-way to his house, we will stop for photo opportunity's and our guide will explain the significance of this historic road

after we leave the oak road we will stop and look back to the TeMata peak and glimpse the giant laying down on the mountain and our guide will recount the legend that is TeMata Peak

We drive through the Art deco Capital of the world and our guide talks about the Earthquake that created the unique area that is Napier and discusses the architecture

John was the operator and took good care of us. He provided insight to the history and culture. He customized our tour since our ship came in at a different time. Very accommodating. Views were spectacular. Honey tour was cut short but worth a stop. Highly recommend.

I recently went on a sights and tastes tour around Napier hosted by John, and it was absolutely fantastic! John was incredibly informative and made the whole experience enjoyable with his friendly and knowledgeable approach. The locations he chose were spot on – from the charming winery to the delightful fig and honey places, each stop was a treat for the senses. And let's not forget the breathtaking mountain view he took us to – it was simply mesmerizing! Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Napier's hidden gems with a friendly guide.

Wonderful tour. John gave us an overview of the area. The tour gave us a good view of Napier. There was only 10 of us so it make it more personal. We stopped for wine tasting and snacks at the right time. The honey store and information was very interesting!

Our driver and guide, John, was fantastic. We enjoyed his narration, and appreciated his safe driving. We covered a lot of ground, and it was nice to be in a small group, as opposed to a large coach.

Excellent tour operator named John. He’s informative, real, and comical. Loved the honey and wine tasting both. Learned a lot. Ended up with a good understanding of the local culture. If sitting in the very back of the van, very difficult to see much.
