We were so lucky with our whale sightings, which obviously made our boat trip. However the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic it made the experience more fun! Roisin was great, you can tell she loves her job by seeing how excited she got when finding the whales. Overall a perfect day out, thank you!

What a fabulous, once in a lifetime experience! From start to finish, the staff were amazing. Billie & Issac were friendly & helpful, answering email questions & greeting us. The naturalists were so friendly, and informative, the whole trip, thank you Petra, Jill & Rōsiā. Captain Anthony & First Mate Karl did a great job getting us to a group of Orcas playing, then onto the Humpbacks gliding along, giving great tale action as they dived. We then had noisy sea lions, then onto a bald eagle & deer, at a stop to see seals. I was amazed by the photos Karl took. Also so surprised & happy they emailed us the photos & our group shot for free! Hadn’t realised that was part of the deal. You could just watch with delight & not worry about getting a good shot, yourself. They are wonderful images. I highly recommend this tour, it was the best wildlife adventure I have ever had! Thank you all 🐋🩵💙🩵

This tour was incredible! Crew was very informative, I also loved that they got as excited as all the guests. The weather was beautiful however definitely dress warm! The warm drinks did the trick in warming me back up after being out front a lot. We saw Orcas, humpback, eagles, and seals. The orcas definitely put a show on for us and some even surprised us by coming up to the ship!

Absolutely amazing experience, we got to see the full spectrum of BC wildlife! Our guide on the top deck, Miranda, was extremely knowledgeable and was great to hear all the really interesting whale facts (and one bear fact).

Just a well planned and laid out explanation of what was going on g to happen on the tour, followed by a safety routine. Then we left the harbour on our little venture, we were blessed soon after of finding a pod of 3 orcas which we were able to stay close by for 45 minutes whose young calf put on a little show for us. We had Wilma a very qualified person talking us through all what we were seeing and no question was too much trouble . We then moved on and found a colony of seals on the rocks by a mini light house which had a bald eagle sitting on the top of. The weather conditions was rainy and the captain did a great job of keeping us steady whilst we were taking photographs. VALUE FOR MONEY In our experience it was a 10/10 we believed it was a great experience for the money paid , the trip was scheduled for between 3 and 5 hours we were out for 3 1/2 and were fortunate to see what we did. I read the negative trip advisor comments earlier , but decided the majority of the complaints were not duly down to the company. I hope this review helps others decide to use Prince of Whales and they get the fantastic service from the crew as we did and see how much they enjoy sharing their knowledge with you.

Despite less than ideal weather (overcast, cold and misting) Petra and the entire team did a fantastic job. Lots of great information shared and we saw humpbacks, orcas and white bellied dolphins. Highly recommend the adventure.

What a wonderful experience! The boat was comfortable and crew was excellent! We sat in the very front of the boat and the views alone were worth it! Jill was our naturalist and was very knowledgeable. We saw Orca Stanley at Stanley Park with his family, humpbacks, seals, sea lions, bald eagles. At the very beginning of our boat trip I saw an eagle in the sky and knew it would be a good day. The catamaran is very smooth and provides a very comfortable ride. I stayed outside the whole time and was mesmerized by everything. They also send you some of their best pictures from the trip as an added bonus in case you don’t have a great zoom lens. The whale watching was definitely the best part of my trip and I will make this part of my trip again should I return to Vancouver (I hope i do!).
