Traveler pickup is offered
All guests are picked up and returned to their place of lodging. We pick up at hotels, condos and private residences in Jackson and Teton Village. Your exact pick up time will be determined by your hotel location. Make sure you notify us of your lodging location at the time of booking. The Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris office will notify you of your exact pickup time prior to your departure. Please be waiting and read in the lobby and please allow your guide 5-10 minutes to arrive.
If you request a hotel pickup outside of the town of Jackson or Teton Village, we will contact you, prior to approving your reservation, with options regarding your tour, which may include a pickup at the Home Ranch Lot or the Stilson Parking Lot, for example. Please review your hotel location before making a request outside of our pickup areas. We recommend booking a private tour if you are unable to meet us for a pickup in the town of Jackson or Teton Village.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)

For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

We had the most amazing tour yesterday with Jeffrey, the most pleasant, courteous and knowledgable guide! We saw plenty of wildlife, including four moose, a highlight, and stopped at glorious vistas to take photos of the peaks. Highly recommended!

I took two wildlife safaris with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari company, both with Naturalist Guide Jeffrey Meehan. Jeff was very punctional for both tours and one of the most knowledgeable people I have met. He knew all about the various wildlife species and the history of the parks.
He was very courteous and I highly recommend booking a tour with him and Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari company. I will most definitely use them again!

Our guide Kayla was awesome! She knew just where to look for wildlife and could spot an elk or a moose what seemed like a half mile away! She adjusted our tour once she knew the animals were active and took us to those places, and she let us watch as long as we wanted. An encyclopedia on the area, she included history, storytelling and environmental knowledge into our tour.

We had a wonderful experience. What made it better was our guide Cynthia. Her passion about wildlife and nature pours out to the group. She is knowledgeable and provides a lot of information. We are planning on coming back to participate in another wildlife tour, specifically to search for bears.

Our original plan was to tour the park on our own, but then a friend recommended we book with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. Boy, are we glad we did. Our tour guide, Grant, was AMAZING!! He knew all the perfect spots to visit and shared so much information that we would have never otherwise known. The two other people in our group were so fun and it made it that much more of an adventure. We saw a ton of wildlife and learned so much. Next time we'll definitely book the full day tour!

Great tour. Our guide, Grant, was extremely knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information with us while at the same time taking us to see a variety of wildlife and many parts of the park as well. Would definitely recommend.

We were disappointed our expectations were a safari truck and seeing a lot of animals, we got a van and hardly saw any animals (a moose and her calf). 85% of the "safari" we spent driving on roads we had been driving on for 3 days, we have seen far more wildlife on our own, therefore for over $800 thought this was overpriced and not worth it.

absolutely loved this tour!! Grant was out tour guide and he was EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE about all the animals and the Gran Teton area. While we didn’t see any bears , we saw moose, elks, bison and a baby deer and their mothers. i didn’t realize how big this area is and the some of the roads he took us on , were not well known to tourists so we appreciated his insight! He had so many snacks / water for our family of 5 were the only ones in the van so it was even more personalized:)
Definitely recommend taking this tour especially if it’s your first time going to the Tetons!!
