Itinerary
During this lesson you will learn the basic steps it takes to make a bowl. You will be introduced to the tools and equipment. With Conrad's help, you will shape, cut and blow out your form. You will be able to select from a variety of colors. Students must be at least 6 years old. No experience needed. Lessons include all the materials needed to create your work. Please allow approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours to create. Completed pieces will be available for pick-up the following day

My husband and I had a "date night" in the Garden. I can't say enough about Conrad and how he takes you through all the steps in a very easy to understand way. He first demonstrates the use of several tools and techniques and then takes you through the steps you will use to make your piece. He is very safety conscious as there are some very hot tools, surfaces, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and are very pleased with the glass bowls he helped us make.

This is one of the best things I’ve done with my granddaughters. Conrad explains the glass blowing process and steps before you get started on your own creation. The results are amazing and beautiful! He’s so friendly and the atmosphere in his garden is wonderful. We will return sometime for sure!

This was an Anniversary gift to us from our son and what a wonderful gift it was ! My husband didn’t think he had any artistic ability so he wasn’t sure about this but as it turned out , he has raved about nothing else . Conrad was the perfect host/artist/instructor to lead us through this experience and he was extremely informative . Conrad demonstrated first , along with showing us the correct way of handling all the instruments so we were safe and when it came our time to actually have hands on experience, Conrad was right there talking us thru . The night went fast in his beautiful garden and the out come was nothing short of the perfect date night . Thank you Conrad for an amazing and lovely night . We love our bowls !

I have been an art teacher for 40 years. Conrad is one of the best teachers I have ever encountered. He is Patient, and reaches out to all types of learning styles.
His expertise and creativity are evident the minute you walk into the studio. His studio space is clean and orderly. The class we took with him exceeded any, and all expectations. Highly recommend.

There is a reason Conrad’s glass blowing class is consistently rated the number 1 thing to do in Naples. My daughter and I opted for a bowl class and it was an incredible experience. Conrad is fastidious about safety and provides a “heatless” practice run before each participant makes their choice. He is engaging and helpful along the way and it was as entertaining watching the other two participants create their treasures as creating our own. I highly recommend this activity with the caveat that you must book early because he fills the classes very quickly.

Conrad's glassblowing was an amazing experience. The setting, with its lovely orchids and hanging planter wall, along with some gentle chimes, was a relaxing and peaceful oasis. Conrad was informative but not hyper. He explained the process clearly, step-by-step and was comfortable and easy to work with. He shared his vocation and his love for his subject was evident. I wouldn't hesitate to return, either alone or with others. I can't recommend the experience enough--it was terrific!

Wonderful experience! Conrad first explains all the parts of blowing glass from the temperature of the glass to how hard to blow. He does all the hard stuff, we do all the fun stuff, and he is by your side the entire time . No need to worry about making a mistake because you just have to put your piece back in the oven to melt it and start over. I will be going back to glassblowinginthegarden.com next time I'm in Naples.
