Itinerary
We will start with a brief history of the Samoan Fire-knife dance (Siva Afi). We will personally go over some of the basic moves with practice sticks as well as demonstrate fire safety. This will be a unique hands on learning experience for those who wish to participate. From there, we will put on a brief performance and during the show we will be inviting those who are comfortable to join us. You get a chance to play with the fire! Instead of just watching the fireknife dancer, you become the fireknife dancer! Even if it's just for a quick pose for the camera, you'll return home with pictures and experiences you just can't get anywhere else We look forward to facing the fire with you, mahalo for supporting local!

What a memorable experience! We got to spin a fire knife. It was very exhilarating and I never felt more alive than that moment I was spinning that knife on “fiyah” as the locals would say. Hehe! Book with these guys you won’t regret it!

This is a MUST-DO experience. The venue is beautiful and the hosts greet you with Aloha. They teach and laugh with you as one of their ohana. This is great for all ages and you will leave with exciting memories to share and pictures to prove it. Mahalo!

This experience is a MUST when visiting the island! So, I'm gonna start by saying that we definitely know our way around Oahu. We've visited half a dozen times and have friends who live on the island. All of this to say... we have NEVER experienced something like this! First of all, we felt really comfortable and safe, despite the fact that you're literally spinning a flaming knife in the air haha. But also, this experience really helped us understand the history and the culture of the fireknife dance. It's one thing to go to a luau and see a performance, it's another thing to know all of the history and heart that goes into the dance itself. We really appreciate the opportunity to experience the hawaiian culture and felt very invited into their world. Throughout the experience, you will learn to spin the fireknife and to drum, as well as see a performance of fireknife dancing from a professional. I could not recommend this more highly. Mahalo nui loa to the whole team!

Took the whole family. We’ve been to other fireknife dances on previous trips. This one is the best! One of the islands best kept secrets is out!
