Begin your journey at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter where you will be greeted by our guide and driver. Within 20 minutes, we will leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city as we wind our way towards the serene Red River bank. After a short walk over Long Bien bridge, we will reach the rugged island. We will have a 4WD adventure along the small off-roads of the green oasis with stunning views of banana plantations, fruit, vegetable, and flower farms. Along the way, we will visit local villages and communities where you can witness local farmers at work. Our journey through the Red River Countryside is enhanced by a home-visit to a local family where you can enjoy fresh fruits and green tea while learning about their daily lives.

Stop At: West Lake, Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
After experiencing the serenity of the countryside, it is time to explore and enjoy the hustle, and bustle of Hanoi’s backstreets. This journey takes you to peaceful villages surrounding West lake and Truc Bach lake, giving you a glimpse of the modern part of Hanoi with thousands of skyscrapers.

Stop At: Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52, 55 Hoang Hoa Tham Ngoc Ho, Ba Dinh, Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
Our journey continues to ride through the flower street market to B52 lake areas where we have city cultural adventures by venturing off the maze of backstreets. Experience the REAL HANOI with a day in the life of locals. We will explore the small alleyways, local homes, schools, and black market while experiencing where and how locals live, work, and play.

Stop At: Ba Dinh Square, Hung Vuong Street Quáng truòng Ba Dinh, Hanoi 10000 Vietnam
Additionally, we will drive past the top city landmarks, such as Hanoi Flag Tower, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, Opera House, Long Bien Bridge, Westlake and Phan Dinh Phung boulevard, Thang Long Royal Citadel, Yellow Cathedral.

Ryley was an excellent guide. Her English was perfect and she was very engaging. It was great to see some places that we would never have gone to alone. The lunch was delicious and Hidden Gem Cafe lived up to its name.

We had a great morning tour with Ryley and Luong. The tour was very informative with interesting information and visiting places that we would otherwise not have gone.
Both Ryley and Luong were warm, personable and accommodating and happily answered all questions.

Really enjoyed this trip. Is was a nice little ‘get away’ from busy Hanoi. I especially loved the trip to Banana Island. Guide was amazing and she knew so many interesting facts about the things we saw. Lunch was very good.

Wonderful tour with guide Lucas and driver Louis. Lots of fun in the open air jeep to the countryside near Hanoi. Great sites to see and Lucas was very informative. Topped off with a delicious lunch in local village. Recommended!

I've been out with Backstreet Tours before in 2019, it was a great tour experience so we booked another this time we travelled to Vietnam.
Today we went out with our guide Doanh, he was very knowledgeable about the places we visited, the foods we ate and was generally a really good personality to have with us for the tour.
Something we didn't know prior, Doanh is actually a very talented photographer and so if you're looking for great photos along the way, he will help you take amazing photos and go out of his way to make sure you have the best time.
I'd say, if you're considering this tour and want to see a little more, book it.

Well organized and well worth the money great time through out the day at seeing lots of amazing sights of this crazy but amazing city. was great. Summer was good fun .

This is so fun! Our tour guide Louis & driver Quan were amazing. Quan is a good driver, I felt safe the entire time I was in the jeep. Louis was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. We had delicious lunch at a local family's house, meet local people and see rice fields! Definitely don't miss this!!!!!

We are almost three weeks into Vietnam tour and the tours with this company still a massive highlight . Louis was our guide and he is amazing , knowledgeable and fun . Quan was a great driver as well and we enjoyed his company . We cannot recommend this tour enough .

What a great way to start the morning, Huy was an awesome guide! So knowledgeable and gave great insight into historical events that most foreigners will have no clue about. The trip was planned well for such a quick morning 4hr tour, plus the food and egg coffee at the end were delicious! We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend asking for Huy when booking!
