The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Jeep Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.
Stop At: Hanoi Train Street, Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Jeep Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the night scenery. A excellent site to see the difference between old and contemporary Hanoi, with the centuries-old attractive area on one side and modern skylines on the other. Before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

The third stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Jeep Tours, you will be taken past the Ho Chi Minh memorial where guards can be seen performing their nightly ceremonies. Nothing captures the reverence and sanctity that the Vietnamese hold for Ho Chi Minh more than these nightly ceremonies. Following, we will head into the densely packed streets of Hanoi to the Train Street where locals cook, relax, and sell their wares. It is a bustling alley full of locals going about their nightly lives, right next to active train tracks!
Stop At: Truc Bach lake, Quan Thanh Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi 10000 Vietnam
The last stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Jeep Tours winds down with a stop to a popular cafe to try the famous Vietnamese egg coffee and a top secret desert which you only know when you travel with us! First invented in 1946, it’s a delicacy of whipped egg yolk with sugar and condensed milk for sweetness, and just a drop of vinegar to fluff the eggs. This is floated on top of a shot of espresso and dusted with cocoa powder. The end result is a coffee experience like no other, and a taste and texture reminiscent of tiramisu. Or we may enjoy yummy Mango and Caramel Pudding dessert in place popular with locals.

Chris our guide certainly knew his history and anything else you needed to know. Had a fantastic sense of humor and knew a lot of Australian slang we were so entertained 😂😂😀😀

Great tour great guide and driver is. Interesting attractions, took good care of us. I have hard time getting in and out of keep and they were very helpful and patient with me.

We did the half day Countryside Jeep tour. We enjoyed it, especially getting up close with a rice field but we only got to see the citadel from the outside as we sat drinking juice. We enjoyed what we saw but I'd rather have actually visited the citadel and skipped the broom factory.

We loved this tour. Trung was such a fantastic guide & the jeep was a great way to get around. We learned so much about Vietnam & really appreciated taking with Trung about life in Vietnam. The food we ate & even the egg coffee was super tasty.

10/10 tour, definitely recommend for families or couples especially for private tours. We did a private tour today by keep with Amh and she was absolutely amazing. We had the best day ever exploring Hanoi and every question we had she could answer. They even took photos for us and sent them to us without us even asking which was so helpful. We are vegetarians and they even took us to an amazing vege buffet that we wouldn’t have found by ourselves!! Will definitely book again in the future when we return :)

Ang and Su were super sweet and kind and gave my mom and I a super informative tour with their excellent driving skills! They were super friendly and answered any questions we had and took us to our requested dinning spot and to coffee after. We even got to go to a local man’s house and have tea and conversation where they translated for us and taught us about Vietnamese culture! These two girls definitely made our trip to Hanoi special! ❤️

Thanks to the lovely Su (driver) and Hoa (guide) for the unforgettable tour! They went above and beyond to make me comfortable, showed me lots of places and shared true local cultural knowledge and experience. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi, it's so worth the money and time, you won't regret it.
