Itinerary
In this lesson we will conduct Shallow Water - Hawaiian Reef Spearfishing, Cultural education, and Exhilarating Techniques to catch dinner, and provide for your Ohana (Family).
You will also learn how to Identify Hawaiian Endemic Reef Fish, What to catch, and what not to.
Meeting Location will be at Anini Place. (Location Instructions will be sent to you after booking)
Once united we will promptly begin with a 30 minute safety & educational briefing, on then take a restroom break. After that we will walk to our entry point and partake in a Naupaka Cleansing Ceremony. (A Hawaiian tradition passed down through generations.)
Next we will start our 90 minute dive, and experience Hawaii’s Largest Barrier Reef.
If we're LUCKY we will come home with exciting stories, unforgettable memories, and some dinner for the family.
Please Note*** If you book an experience during the winter season, which runs from November to February, please be aware that there is a chance it may be cancelled or cut short due to high surf or strong currents at Anini Beach, depending on the day.

The whole experience was cool! The instructor was able to put us on the fish! We saw lots of fish and sea turtles during the experience. He sent us home with chips and homemade salsa to enjoy:-)

Great adventure. Guide Korey was excellent; super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Got us right on fish and guided us through the cool reef. Got to swim with turtles and see lots of fish. Nobody else in the channel with us was amazing. You should be in relatively decent physical condition and understand how to snorkel so that you can focus on the spear fishing aspect to it. We will return! Highly recommended.

I was so excited for this activity, but the morning of as we were getting ready I got an email that it was cancelled. No reason as to why it was cancelled. They did not even ask if we would like to reschedule it. They did give us a refund, but I was not happy that we didn’t get to go. We couldn’t even book any other activity for the day.

Wow!!! Hands down would recommend this excursion. It was absolutely amazing and our guide Nick couldn’t have been any better. He was incredibly accommodating and made the experience one we will never forget.
