Fantastic tour of gorgeous Hatcher Pass in state of the art ATV’s. It was an awesome tour in an almost white-out snow event at the top. A delightful adventure!

Big mountain views. Awesome off-road trails in mini snowcats. We saw moose. The weather up top was much warmer than in town it was so neat. Guide Dan was super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The mini tank machines are brand new and have heat and a radio. This was the best tour we took during our visit to Alaska.

Booked the UTV tour as a birthday gift to self, which, despite driving from Anchorage through a terrible snowstorm, turned out to be a great choice! Received a warm welcome from all staff members upon arrival. My guide fitted me with the proper safety gear and gave easy directions on how to operate the vehicle in no time. He was also very friendly and knowledgable about the area, which made for a fun trip. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do something off-grid or different from the norm. You’ll get to see some of Alaska’s most beautiful country with some of its best people!

This tour knocked our socks off. We saw a moose on the road the tour office is located. While out on tour we saw a baby bear that crossed the trail. The Polaris Rangers are brand new and well taken care of. We really enjoyed the Bluetooth radio while cruising around.

Touring the Mountains in complete comfort was amazing. It is so nice to take a tour and go out to eat right after because we stayed so clean from the fully enclosed cabs. Great value for the money. Thank you to the amazing staff for going above and beyond.

My wife and I went on an ATV tour with Randy as our guide yesterday and we had a fantastic time! Randy quickly but thoroughly went through the safety briefing and made sure we were comfortable operating the vehicle. Just a short way from their facility we were off road and having a blast, running through creeks, tearing up and down hills. He is very familiar with the area and shared his knowledge. The gold panning was fun and he found us a rock with gold impregnated in it! The Polaris Rangers are great! Easy to operate, comfortable, and heated! They look new and are very well maintained. If you’re a local or a visitor I highly recommend you check out Hatcher Pass ATV.

Our guide Randy, was friendly, funny & very knowledgeable. He made sure he gave us instructions several times. It had been raining quite a lot in the area & the trails were full of water. It was a fun experience even though we could not do the gold panning because the river water was so high. The ATV's were all enclosed with heat & a defroster. We were given rain boots to use & helmets to wear. Randy made sure we did not do anything unsafe & made the tour fun & interesting!

The 2-1/2 hour Hatcher Pass ATV Tour was one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. Our guide, Randy, was enthusiastic and took us on several crazy-fun trails up and down hills, through creeks, and into the back country, all the while keeping our safety in mind. Due to heavy rains, the gold creek was too high for us to safely pan, but Randy gave us a demo and found several flecks of gold and a gold bearing rock (which he gave to us to keep) in the first pan. He also took us to a spot where we picked wild blueberries and he discussed the geology and gold mining history of the area. The scenery was fantastic everywhere we looked. Also, don’t hesitate to take the tour if it’s raining. Our tour started in cold and rainy weather, but the Polaris Ranger ATV kept us warm and dry (it’s advisable though to wear rain gear so you can get of the ATV at stops). The side-by-side ATV was incredibly easy to drive and was obviously built for the type of terrain we encountered. Although I wouldn’t recommend the tour for someone with severe back or neck issues, anyone from a 5 year old with a sense of adventure to those who are “mature-and-then-some” (as we are) would have a great time. Thanks again, Randy!
