Our guide, Kaori, was lovely and very considerate (eg she brought umbrellas and fans for everyone, which was very helpful in the heat) and we managed to fit in a lot. Would highly recommend her as a guide. Last time we visited Kyoto, we didn’t make it to many shrines or temples so this was a great way to fit in a lot of ‘must see’ sights without getting lost or wasting time. We also got a lot more out of them than if we had tried to do it ourselves as Kaori explained the traditions and background at each stop. The timing and location of the tour works perfectly if you want to see a performance at Gion Corner afterwards then have dinner in Gion.

The tour was enhanced by Kaori, our guide. She is so knowledgeable and pleasant that we saw things we never would have noticed otherwise. I particularly enjoyed the Kannon temple and the temple next to it, which has an amazing garden. Kyoto was made even more beautiful with Kaori's guiding us

レビュー This was an amazing tour that took us to the most popular places and the hidden gem. All the places were beautiful, but I especially loved Chishakuin temple. It was very quiet and peaceful, with very few people around. Our guide Kaori told us interesting stories about this temple. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit a quiet, ancient captal Kyoto.

Loved this tour. Such distinctive temples with 1,000 golden warriors and various Gods! Great stories, kept our interest throughout. Chishakuin Temple was a surprise and my favorite place I visited in our 4 days in Kyoto. Be sure to see the original paintings at the end of the visit-amazing!!!! Really helped me understand the Japanese culture
