Enter the Monastery of Santo Domingo, see its arquitecture, expositions, stories, House of Marques de Valdehoyos (stories).
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Plaza de San Pedro Claver, Cartagena Colombia
Hear the stories about the Saint of Cartagena, take photos, have orange juice.

This is a beautiful neighborhood with picturesque colored houses and convents and restaurants.

We'll ride through Getsemani and interact with locals, hear stories and see movies shot there.

The fact that Gerardo became a friend at the end of my tour, should say it all. This tour is an absolute MUST DO. I have done 2 tours with Gerardo on back to back days, and he let me keep the bike overnight in my apartment, which was a bonus.
Gerardo is full of energy, charisma, charm and knowledge. He smoothly goes through the tour, in a unique creative manner, answering all questions, stopping for photos where I wanted to, and making safety a priority on the roads.
I was actually disappointed when the tours ended, I loved them that much. Thanks again for everything Gerardo.

Our bike tour with Gerard was exceptional. There is so much to see in Cartagena but this bike tour is the best way to feel the city in one morning, learn about its history and taste some of Cartagena traditional goodies.

Gerardo is a wonderful guide! He is clearly so proud of his city and knows so much about the area, past and present - including some amazing family history of his own. We were a little nervous to be biking around Cartagena but Gerardo lead us with confidence and it was a totally amazing and unique way to see the city!

What a great tour of the old city in Cartagena. Gerardo has deep roots in the city and lives to share not only the city’s history, but he gives it a great cinematic spin based in part on his own family’s role in Cartagena’s movie scene. I particularly appreciated the many food and drink suggestions, including favorite street vendors, along the way.

What a unique day in Cartagena combing two of our favorite things: biking and eating!!! Our guide Gerardo is not only a bike guide, he is a fashionista! He greeted us with scarfs to absorb the Colombian dew (our sweat) that was accumulating on our forehead and neck! During the tour we heard all the history of Cartagena as well as all the film history of the city. Gerardo is big in the local film industry as his family was the one who established it generations ago. Gerardo (born there) also knows all the locals which made the street food tour unique. Most enjoyable was coffee with Manuel who is from an indigenous tribe and provided magnificent coffee that you cant get in any of the coffee shops. we also made a stop at a park where we fed the monkey's coconut. All the street food was great (loved the sugar mango)! The biking part was good and the terrain flat and they are adding bile lanes all over. While the tour started about 20 minute away by taxi (easy to get and the city is very safe) we finished at the port as Gerardo arranged! This helped us maximize time. His tours can be customized to your likes and we cant say enough good things about our new friend Gerardo and his Bike & Street Food tour!!!

Gerardo is absolutely fantastic! He is knowledgeable, kind, and makes sure you are safe while biking throughout the busy streets of Cartagena. What makes the trip especially special is his own important family history that is interwoven in the tour. He partners with local business owners and community leaders to ensure you get a feel for the local experience. I went on a three hour tour one day, loved it so much, and booked a six hour tour the next day. Book the tour - it will be the highlight of your trip!

It was a great tour and our daughter Emma also loved it! We saw the best parts of Cartagena, heard a lot about the history and nice to also see monkeys. Tour guide very very nice!
