It was a bit too historical for me. I don’t know how the guide could remember soooo many exact dates and names! Amazing. 1.5 hours long with less facts would be perfect. Great town to visit.

Dennis was the ideal tour guide- very knowledgeable, informative and fun! He answered all my many questions. We lucked out by having a small group, so there was minimal group wrangling and maximum history-telling. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors to Charleston.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the history and architecture of colonial Charleston, but the historic district is big, and you can only see a so much in a 2 hour walking tour.
This was a great in depth tour of the French Quarter and Battery sections of Charleston, but next time I would schedule it in conjunction with a broader, overview, carriage tour.
