Get ready for some fun and learning! Our historian and guide will begin with exploration of the North beach and Savannah river as it was used by the indigenous of the Island 600 years ago. The tour offers stories and lore to recall the charms and whimsy of the island as she passed through indigenous, pirates, early English settlers, and now into modern days. The often overlooked North End Tybee holds a rich history about the settlers as well as military with the historical value and tales of Fort Screven. The open-air ride will surely place a smile on your face as you take in views that only a local would know, and stories that only a historian can tell with accuracy and passion.

Jac was an amazing guide. We learned so much. Do this first then enjoy the rest of the Island. The golf cart was comfortable and covered a lot of the north end of the island.

This was a really good way to end our stay on Tybee Island. Jack was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and gave us a nice leisurely tour in a 8-seater golf cart. I highly recommend this!

Wow! One of the best tours we have ever taken, if not the best, and we’ve been on a lot of tours. Our guide, Jac, was a very good speaker, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. I can’t recommend this tour high enough.

The history told by Jac. She really is a great story teller. You can tell that she loves her job. It was non stop history told by someone who actually lives there.

The tour guide was wonderful and had detailed knowledge of the island and history. We learned history and culture that you wouldn’t get any where else. Well worth the money and time.

I have been to Tybee several times and this tour added so much to my knowledge of the island's history. Jac is an excellent guide who shares her knowledge with humor! She makes learning fun! As a local herself she can answer questions and provide info on places to eat, etc. Jac is the best!

Due to weather, we had to change our reservation for 10 people from one day until the next. Tripadvisor was very supportive and making the change to our tour guide. Jacqueline was fantastic, both in her knowledge of the islan, her enthusiasm for the island and her care for us. we were 10 ladies all over 65 and she took very good care of us.
