We follow the old postal road up to the highest point of the plains. The temperature on the plateau can vary from a few plus degrees to well below freezing. We cannot promise you windless days and clear skies, but whatever the weather, the nature on the plateau will be just as magnificent and impressive.

We can pick you up at the Cruise Ship harbor. Depending on where the ship is anchored we will adjust our pick up location. Please look for a car that says "Æventyr" on it.

You will share a snowmobile with another passenger, so each of you will get to drive half of the trip.
Only the holders of a valid B class drivers license are allowed to drive a snowmobile in Norway. You are required to present your license for verification before taking part on the ride. Guests without a valid driving license are only allowed to be passengers.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

We had a great time with our guide as we tracked across the tundra along an old postal route. The weather was really in our favor with amazing blue skies and only moderate winds. We hit some rough patches where the track had been torn up the day before, so we all (guide included) had to take turns navigating the rough areas and falling off our snowmobiles, but we got through it with the help of our awesome guide and his eternally positive attitude. This was a great way to spend a day experiencing three areas and learning some of the culture as well.

Great trip to Finnmarksvidda and Gargia lodge. We had a real winter adventure with dog sleighs in Alta and a scooter tour to a cosy cabin with great waffles! The weather was a bit challanging part of the way, but nothing we couldn't handle with help from our guide👍

Fantastisk tur i flotte omgivelser, med et vær som var helt fantastisk!
Guiden vår var kjempeflink - grundig og tydelig gjennomgang av scooter før kjøring og flere korte stopp underveis hvor vi fikk interessant og lærerik informasjon om området som vi beveget oss i.
