With the entrance ticket, you have the chance to relish in the fascinating art of a water puppet show, which is closely associated with the spiritual life of Vietnamese people, especially in the countryside.
The show’s chosen stage is not big but it is the traditional stage with the surface of a water pool. The puppeteers present their clever skills in managing puppets by long bamboo rods and string mechanism under the surface. A traditional Vietnamese orchestra is an excellent music accompaniment.
The puppets depict the story from the songs during the show, which reflects the peaceful life of the Vietnamese countryside, so it is not too difficult to understand it.

The eater puppet show was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was fantastic. The food on the cruise was delicious. The only negative comment was the extra loud entertainment at the beginning of the meal.

This was an amazing must do family experience. The musicians were incredible and the skill of the puppeteers was outstanding. When booking, I requested a seat where my child would have a good stage view and they not only remembered but they sat us close to the stage. This was one of my favorite activities on our trip. We even bought a souvenir puppet!

Great show. The only problem was that it was very loud. So for those going with kids, or those with hearing problems, be aware of the noise level.

Fun show that has lots of dancing, creative puppets, and good story. Fun to attend! Worth every penny to attend this show!

The entire play is in Vietnamese, but good art works wonder through language barriers. Through the puppet movements, settings and the musicians/singers emotions you'll be able to understand whats happening.
The chairs were a little tiny, but its a short performance (~45 mins) so its not too bad. Theatre is air-conditioned.
If you're in the first row there are some segments that splashes water outwards, if thats a concern.

The show was fun. Friendly staff. Easy admission. Free seating. We got good seats until some tall audience sat on the row ahead.

Delightful, funny and artful! I would recommend this to all ages. The puppeteers ability to do this is very impressive and the musician's joy comes through in their sound affects and music throughout the show
