Disappointed to say the least!!! We booked this for our family as our boys love trains etc and we thought this would be a fun and novel way to see some of the sites of Hobart. When we arrived we were told our coach would be a large white bus, when I said that wasn’t what I booked I was told by the staff member at the booking desk “oh when we have more than 25 people booked we move to a large coach”. When we got on the bus our driver told everyone the tram coach was in for repair. VERY MISLEADING! None of the info mentions the possible change of vehicle due yo numbers and we were not given an opportunity for a refund. The tour itself was ok. Commentary average. If we had known we wouldn’t be on the tram coach we would have booked elsewhere.

Not as advertised, wasted time as some sites and missed other sites. 1 hour and 50 not touring and not finished on time, gave a got an UBER back from Gardens.
Used a Coach bus instead of Road Tram and given 2 stories as to why…..
Would not recommend

It was not a Coach Tram Tour, instead we were crammed like sardines in a bus, while COVID-19 is still around; we were chastised for being at the wrong meeting point, which was No. 1 on the information provided to us; the driver had never been in charge of such a large group and was concerned as to how he would cope with the tour; we did not stop at the Cascades Female Factory, as provided on the itinerary; and the time allocated for sightseeing at the Botanical Gardens was ludicrous.

Had a wonderful time, lady very friendly and informative. Only comment was I booked because I loved the idea of seeing the city on the old tram bus. Turned out to be a normal big bus. Told they don't use it any more. So false advertising.

Excellent trip. Knowledgable guide. Very helpful. Enjoyed the stops for the trip. Prefer it over “hop on and hop off”. Bus was very comfortable!
We learnt heaps about Hobart today. Real bonus !
Hint: good footwear, sunscreen , camera
