We booked this tour with Tassie Tours to visit Mount Wellington, Salamanca market, Richmond and the wildlife park in one day. Our guide Mark was very knowledgeable and funny. He explained the history of Hobart and Tasmania. The stories behind the collapsed Tasman Bridge were so sad.
Oh, breathtaking Mount Wellington. Our bus ride on the hill was awesome with Mark's excellent driving skills.
The Salamanca market was very crowded.
Richmond is a must visit beautiful village.

Very good tour, the driver, the choice of sites timing. The only negative was the old bus broke down, but they were quick to get another one while we did beer testing

Andrew was a great guide. He was able to share so much! It was my favorite tour of our 21 days on vacation. We got to feed the kangaroo at the Sanctuary, visit Richmond, and see so many sites. His knowledge really was what made the tour.

We had Andrew as our driver for this tour and he did an excellent job start to finish. He changed the order of our stops and took us to the animal sanctuary first. What a great place! For an American we got to see animals we don’t normally experience up close and personal.
As we drive to the next stop of Richmond, Andrew told us all about the countryside. It was very informative. Richmond turned out to be the hidden gem of the tour. Made us want to go back and visit with the rich history and unique assortment of shops and restaurants.
Andrew then dropped us by The Wicked Cheese store to sample and purchase some locally made cheese.
From there Andrew showed off his driving skills as he drove to the top of Mt. Wellington going up a twisting, turning., road that put a lump in your throat.
As we headed back into Hobart Andrew gave us all of the history of the town and pointed out unique buildings and told us which restaurants we might want to visit before getting on our ship again.
Overall a great use of our time.

On all other tours we had commentary throughout. Also, we would have appreciated him giving us the itinerary for the day. He just seemed disinterested and going through the motions of just driving. I heard him get after a passenger who asked for more information.
