Our bus driver Greg was fantastic with his history of the area, keeping us so well informed. It was zero degrees at Mt Wellington but Greg kept the bus warm for us. This area was such a wonderful place to be and see the magnificent scenery that was ever changing. Highly recommend not to miss this one.

On our recent family holiday we took the Hop on Hop off to Mt Wellington and it didn't disappoint! Our driver was David and he was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the region. Nothing was a trouble even when one of the other passengers stepped on a random nail. He performed first aid and we resumed our journey. The views at the top were sensational! Highly recommend and great value for money.

Explorer R/T bus to Mt Wellington was exceptional, as was the driver. Hop on/off bus was educational & pleasant. Only negative was the end of day last bus, that was way too early. We missed it & had to get an Uber ride back to ship. 😭😲

Lack of parking longer than the tour in Hobart was stressful and I was fined. On the bus to Mt Wellington unfortunately four women sat behind me and talked loudly and non-stop. Even when the guide was telling us the local information over the microphone. Greg, the driver was wonderful, good sense of humour and did a great job. I was unable to complete any of the double decker part of the tour due to the 2 hour parking.

Great way to see Hobart for the first time in 90 minutes. We enjoyed the recorded commentary and driver's additional input.

We were fortunate to have Jon, usually in the back office, but today driving and commentating. A special trip up the mountain with a clarity of description shared in a friendly manner. The weather made it special- sleet and hail came down on cue and created quite a blast- literally. Well worth the investment of $ and time.

Reviewed the Mt Wellington tour separately - but it's a must-do while here. The hop on hop off bus was good - plenty of commentary and we saw a great deal of Hobart central area - a good way to see the various main points of the city and the two tours aren't expensive

We booked the Mt. Wellington Afternoon Tour with Red Decker Co. Pick up spots are at Brooke St. Pier and 4 Elizabeth St, outside the Hydro Tasmania Building, Since we booked the 3:30 time slot (their last tour) we stopped at one lookout spot before reaching the Pinnacle Summit where we had 40 minutes to take in the breath-taking views of Southern Tasmania. The sun was setting as we drove back to Hobart CBD. Our guide/driver offered a lot of information along the way and navigated the narrow windy road perfectly.
