This was a fantastic experience with chef Alberto. He was very informative on the ingredients, where they are procured, and importance of using quality ingredients. We made fresh pasta and pesto, both were far better than we get in America.
Alberto provided delicious appetizers, really nice wine and a wonderful dessert.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Alberto is very knowledgeable about the history of Genova & the history of pesto. The location for the cooking class was beautiful. We ate on his rooftop in his home.
My friends and I enjoyed his explanations of each step of the pasta & pesto making. He was even kind of enough to send us recipes and recommendations in the area for dinner. We enjoyed our time with Alberto. I recommend his class!

We had the best time at this class! It was one of our favorite parts of our 10 day Euro trip. Alberto was wonderful and provided such a great environment to learn about the history and also try making the food yourself. We thought the food was some of the best, if not the best, we had during our trip.

One of the things we wanted to do was learn how to make pesto while in Italy. We booked this event and would 10/10 recommend. It was so informative and Alberto explained everything so well. I am confident I can make it in the states when I get home. There are several flights of stairs to get to the apartment but the rooftop garden was beautiful.

We have been living in Milan for a while hopping on train from time to time to go somewhere seeking to learn more about the Italian culture .
We booked this pesto class in Genova and it was an amazingly delightful experience thank a to Alberto’s passion and willingness to truly teach us the art of pesto.
We were together for over four hours and it felt like minutes.
Thank you Alberto for gifting us with such a lovely experience.
