These Hop On/HopOff buses look nearly identical but have vastly different levels of service and capacity than the “official” company. Look for the one that doesn’t have glass windows on top but you probably can’t get a ticket unless you book in advance through the cruise ship. I think the cruise company is colluding with them somehow to force people to use the first company (not this one). We were kept waiting, sitting on a FULL bus with a full line of people waiting to get on to the next bus for at least 20 minutes at port. It was deceptive. Our friends waited 45 minutes to catch a bus at the opera house to go to the next destination. We just chose to walk the rest of the day because i have severe back pain if I have to stand longer than 10 minutes and obviously the buses were not on schedule nor did they have capacity. We were all deceived and robbed. I’m disgusted with Holland America.

THIS IS  IS BY FAR A HUGE FIASCO ON OUR TOUR ! You could think this is a good chance to see the whole city but the truth is that the driver drives very much on the highway all the time. I ve done this type of buss in Madrid and is a completly difference. Ofcourse Oslo and Madrid are so different

há 2 minutos NOVA Be very careful!!! Last November 17th, me and my husband bought TWO 48h tickets to visit Oslo with Hop-On Hop-off Oslo, bought it in from a lady named Dayanis Carbonell (we have all documents). Three days after, we left Oslo to Stockholm and looking at our credit card we where shocked. We realised that this lady charged us NOT 2 TICKETS BUT 22 TICKETS in the total of €1.035,13!!! Since then, we have been trying to get this solved, constantly contacting the Office in Oslo, with NO ANSWER. We talked with an employee, that always answers he's off work hours, an says he will take matters to his office in the next day, but he never does, and nothing happens. BE VERY CAREFUL. I WOULD NEVER EXPECT THIS FROM NORWEGIAN.VETY, VERY DISAPPOINTED and will take matters into court. Nuno Serrão & Ana Pinho

With only a day to spend in Oslo, we booked a bus tour with the hop-on operator to get an impression of the city and visit the famous Vigeland park. This decision proved terrible. Their service policy states that they operate as of 10am and that customers can start at that time at stop number 1. We were there at 9:50 at stop no. 1 but no bus at 10. And also no bus at 10:30. I even called the telephone number to check in but no one picked up the phone. We read that we could cancel the reservation and stated a no show. Subsequently we booked the other operator CitySiteseeing that had a bus close to the other operator. Our reservation cancellation was declined because we cancelled within 24h. Stating that there was no bus service was answered with a reply that busses operated normally that day!? I offered a evidence that I could possibly offer like the tickets of the other operator but that was ignored. This company lies to its customers. If you wantrouw do a city tour, I strongly advise not to use the hop on operator but to go for citysiteseeing in stead.

They were a no-show; we could not/did not use their service. The provided information related that there would be a pickup and to contact them at a telephone number, which was inoperative. We stood under the Hop On Hop Off bus sign for 45 minutes with no bus stopping.

Waited over an hour and a half in the rain for a bus. 2 went past and were full so they would not pick us up. We were on a cruise so did not have time to do what we wanted to, as a result of this. Next time would choose competitor, as there were more buses and picking up people or a tour. There were multiple people waiting with us and had the same experience.

We have used Hop on Hop Off tours before. They are helpful . The narration was not synced which was not an issue with other Hop on Hop Offs we have taken before. One part of the narration talked about something that would be opening in 2021! Are Hop on Hop offs new to Oslo?

We thoroughly enjoyed our HOHO tour of Oslo. The commentary was interesting and the stops included all the highlights of the city. One challenge is that the bus only goes one way (no reverse itineraries), so if you want to backtrack to one of the stops you have to ride all the way through the tour again. Time didn't allow us to do that so we couldn't use it to see everything we wanted to.

We really appreciated the bus and used our passes multiple times. In fact, we bought an additional 24° pass so we could see everything. The drivers were always so friendly and helpful. Thanks
