The Club Hípico El Ranchito has an unusual show for you, based on rhythm and discipline, music and beauty: Ritmo a Caballo.
An authentic equestrian ballet that has accompanied us every Wednesday at 17:45h without interruption for 31 years. Its choreographies are based on some classical and Doma Vaquera repises, with Spanish music and costumes from the old Andalusia and directed by José Carlos González Guerrero, main rider who has in his professional career such important prizes as:
Champion of Spain in 2009 or Gold Medal repeatedly in the Sicab (One of the most important events in the equestrian world).
We are facing a show of approximately 1 hour and a half, where we can enjoy 20 horses, all trained by our riders who put their knowledge and teachings to be tamed with a high level, distributed in different numbers.
The use of a mask is recommended.

They showed andalucia horses and the riding culture of andalucia. 1 young flamenco dancer was dancing. It was lovely. I expect much more flamenco and more show from the riders.

Enjoyed meeting the horses beforehand. Nice to see the staff walking then around to show them off.
The show itself I’m afraid to say it was a bit boring. The horses are gorgeous and the staff were smiling and did what they had to do but the show itself is quite dull. Took a while to get going and really only the last section was good.
The arena is long and wide so you can’t really see everything all the time.
The narration at the beginning is repetitive and a bit odd.
Also, if you don’t have your own car, make sure you book a taxi for the way home. It’s a bit out the way.

The Ritmo A Caballo was well presented. The horses were magnificent and extremely well trained. The exhibition told a story and the Flamenco dance was complimentary.

On arrival just walk up track the show is 3rd on left,as its very laid back.Lovely time spent meeting horses beforehand.Make sure to book the transfer coach.The show by the end had me in tears of joy.So glad I booked,well worth it.

I searched for a horse show in Cordoba, but the advert appeared for this show, so I purchased it.
Only later did I see the small print that it's in Torilmolinos, about 2 hours away from Cordoba!
I requested a refund, but it was denied. Very unhappy with this, poor advertising by TripAdvisor!!

We had a rental car, so went early. Parking was free. We were able to walk around the stables. Stalls were clean. Many of the horses were out and getting saddled up.
Check in was easy with tickets on our phones. Show started on time in the indoor arena. Acoustics were just OK. Some of the music sounded kind of hokey.
But as an equestrian myself, I can appreciate all of the training it takes for the horses and riders. They performed some very nice dressage and showmanship. I enjoyed them and the flamenco dancing too.
