Itinerary
The activities are carried out in a gaucho post located at the foot of the beautiful pre mountain range about an hour from the city of Mendoza. Upon arriving at the place our family will revive them with mates and we will prepare the horses while we give them a talk to give them the knowledge they will need at the time of starting the ride. Once finished we will begin to ride on horseback, for 3 hours, unexplored paths between hills and plains adorned with the imposing framework of the pre Cordillera with the possibility of seeing wild animals such as guanaco, condor, fox and hares. In the middle of the tour we will go up to a viewpoint located at 2000 meters high giving view to a unique landscape of the city and its mountains. There we will get off the horses so they can photograph the majestic landscape and feel the magnificent mountain, after a few minutes we return to the gaucho stand where a typical country roast awaits us, accompanied by roasted vegetables, fresh vegetables and the delicious Mendoza wine that The rest of the evening will accompany us. At 10 pm approximately we undertake the return to the city of Mendoza where our services end.

The transfer will pick up the passengers through the place where they are staying as long as they are within the radius indicated above otherwise a Meeting Point will be established. The schedule is at 3 pm it can vary 15 minutes before or 15 minutes later depending on the distances between each of the passengers.

I did this trip during my travel in Argentina and it was really amazing! To be honest: for me this was the highlight of my 3 weeks in Argentina. The host was very nice and it was a special experience in a beautiful area!

A memorable three-hour horseback ride into the Andes mountains, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner and wine. The horses are well trained and the gaucho horsemen have many years of experience. We left Mendoza at 3pm and returned at 11pm. We did the “high trail” and there were a few steep parts, but there are multiple guides to help you up and down. We had beginners and experienced riders, and both groups enjoyed!

The ranch is in the mountains and it takes a little while to get there. Ezechiel is a terrific host and explained what to expect and gave a mini class on horse riding. The horses walk in a line, it takes a while to get to and on top of an hill from where you have a beautiful view. The path is narrow and the horses know very well what to do, but in a couple of points it is not for the faint of hearth. All is concluded with a splendid asado, with plenty of succulent meats, sausages and vegetables. Vegetarian option available. The ranch is run by a couple, the horses live freely on the mountains. All in all is a beautiful experience

We got picked up by car, went straight towards a farm at the foot of the mountains. Jumped on horses and went up into the mountains with 2 tour guides. Went up though canyons and climbed on small paths with our horses. The sun set the same time we reached the top, breathtaking. Really challenging paths and until we reached the farm we road though in the darkness with the moon lighting our way. To finish of, we had a big Parilla/BBQ night with lots of wine and incredible food. The pictures speak for themselves, we had an amazing day and night.

Absolutely great experience, beautiful vistas and an easy horseback ride up into the foothills. Followed by a fantastic Argentine roast and bottomless wine. It was a wonderful day, highly recommend!

I really recommend this tour. I managed to book a space on the tour for myself and a friend on the day. Stella got back to me straight away and provided lots of useful information prior to the tour.
We got picked up by Ezequeal (who was very kind) and dropped us off at the ranch approx an hour drive from central Mendoza. We then had a briefing before we trekked through the mountains (3 hrs). There was a beautiful view at the top of the mountain and opportunity to take some photos. After the trek we had an amazing asado!! The food was excellent!

What an incredible experience right from the start. It was a hot day and the drive from downtown Mendoza is about an hour and the tour guide, Ezequiel, stopped along the way to buy us all popsicles for the rest of the journey. When we got to the ranch he showed us the ropes and off we went into the hills to the most incredible views of our whole trip. When we got back the food and wine were waiting for us and everything was delicious. Easily the best experience of our entire trip.

This was a wonderful horseback riding experience on a family-run farm. We took the steep path and had a beautiful view from the top of the mountains. It got very dark on the ride back and when we arrived, the food was quickly served to finish off a great night!

Great day! Wonderful family who hosted the riding and dinner in their own place. A very authentic experience with lovely horses (I’m actually afraid of horses), and riding under the stars and fireflies.
