We will head to Hacienda Dona Engracia about a 25 min drive from our meeting point. There, we will match you with a horse that suits best your ability. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the countryside and its beauty by riding along the Mascota River and viewing the local scenery and vegetation.
Bring your SWIMSUIT to the swimming pool (if river conditions permit, you may enjoy a short swim with your horse). Your guide will take photos of you along the way with your camera if you wish.
After riding, we will arrive at La Dulce Vista, where you will taste our own Artisanal Boutique Tequila (Blanco, Reposado & Anejo) and our premium Pink Tequila, which are made in small batches in the city of Tequila.
Afterward, you will satisfy your appetite with a traditional Mexican Lunch! (vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options) with of course Unlimited Margaritas
* You are highly recommended to bring a hat and sunglasses! Bring some shoes that wont fall off your feet easily AND that you're ok if they get wet

SO much fun!!! The guides were wonderful, the horse back riding was great gorgeous scenery! The lunch was soooo good couldn’t get enough of the food and margs as well as hanging out in the pool. The tequila tasting was so fun and so many different types to try definitely worth bringing some home I highly recommend. I do wish we got to ride the horses back down form this gorgeous oasis but honestly no complaints. I 10000% recommend doing this it was a perfect amount of peaceful relaxation and fun.

We had a good time, but the time allowed to eat lunch and swim or just enjoy the property was not enough. But we managed to enjoy the tour.

The hosts were great and the tequila tasting was awesome. Riding the horses was such an authentic experience. We bought a bottle of their tequila blanco for $60 and it’s the best tequila we’ve had. If you are in puerto Vallarta for a while I recommend buying a bottle of their tequila to drink during your trip. The lunch was also great and the pool was refreshing. To save hassle wear closed toes shoes because they will recommend and have you sign something saying you agree to wear closed toes, so out of respect to their precautions and to save yourself some stress bring closed toes shoes. Also bring a hat because the sun is hot. They have nice and well priced hats to purchase if you forget one. Highly recommend this experience . Friendly staff and friendly horses.

This excursion started off poorly. First, the instructions on where to meet are not clear and despite giving ourselves a 20min buffer we were still late. The bus driver was extremely rude from the beginning telling us we were late. He yelled at one of our guests to stay off the grass as she was loading onto the bus. Mind you he was parked against a large patch of grass that had no signs to not step on said grass. He could have parked his vehicle with the entrance door on the street side instead if it was that big of a concern for him. During the van ride to the “farm” he kept telling us there were no shops for food or water and we needed to grab drinks and such at the one opportunity he was willing to give us. Naturally everyone stocked up on snacks and drinks at OXXO. Funny enough we then happened to stumble upon a man selling items like water shoes, hats, and other items. This man was expecting us. It want a store but it was set up like a flea market with plastic tables and items everywhere. No one else was stopping in this building except for us and this man was absolutely prepared to have us shop. Super sketchy. Then the guide told us we couldn’t bring our drinks on the horses…after telling us to stock up on these exact items. He then also gave us each a bottle of water to finish quickly. Sketchy again. Once we finally got to the area where we would load onto the horses, the entire process was disorganized and unsafe. They had horses they were trying to break tied up to trees that guests who had never even been on a horse had to navigate through in narrow spaces with no guidance or chaperoning to ensure their safety or the horses. This process should have been much smoother and efficient. It took 40 min when it should have taken 15. We finally got going and the trek to the bbq restaurant/tequila tasting was fine. The meal was good and I would eat there again. That was honestly the best part. When it was time to leave our bus driver was nowhere to be found. After harassing our group for being late he was himself 15min late getting back on the horses. The ride back was a complete disaster. Our guide was drunk and couldn’t lead our group so another member of his “guides” had to do so. Mind you he did not speak English so when we were passing people on ATVs, cars blaring music riding through the river, kids on dirt bikes riding very close to the horses, this non-English speaking guide couldn’t tell us to hang to the right or left or watch out. Members of the group who had never been on a horse were very stressed and unsure of how to maneuver and control their horse with such little guidance or concern. The overall opinion of this group of 14ish folks was not we would not do this again for multiple reasons but they can be summed up with: unsafe conditions, inefficient waste of time, poor and negative demeanor of the guide.

This trip was for my husbands birthday. The driver was about 20 min late. the van was dirty,the a/c was running hot air it was a35 min drive. they host doesnt explain much..he make you read the wall.fyi wear closed shoes or they give you a reallly hard time. the horse they put my husband on was unstable. the moment he got on the horse it went crazy and took off with him. He had to tell them no way! while on the trail ride the cowboys horse went crazy which made all the horses nervous..the horse bumped into my friends horse, on a hill. The trail we took dogs attacked the horses. Everyone was making the best out of it but couldnt wait to get off the horses . so we get to the resort for tequila tasting. mr easy was rude and snapped at someone in the group. you taste about 4 differ tequila. unless you buy thats it! now its time to eat. Cold ass food.No shrimp! tiny portion. you get salsa but no chips. resort was so full we had no place to sit and enjoy.had to eat fast if you wanted to swim 15 min in the pool then it was time to go.it was a dirty place. the pool was full of bugs.. when the guide came to get us it was lets go lets go or we will leave you behind. unpleasant people towards the end. margaritas sooooo good!!loved them! I will not recommend this adventure to anyone. Not worth over a $100

Roberto, Nester and Easy were very unprofessional. Made nasty comments to people in the group. I’m sure they were trying to be funny, but it didn’t land very well. Most of the 9 people in the group had a bad taste in our mouths. We didn’t have time to swim because they were rushing us. Plus, all the loungers were already taken. Save your money and go to Vallarta Adventures!

Guapa, our tour guide was fabulous. It was a great experience. I was a little fearful being on the horses. They were all gentle. Tequila tasting was great. Although our instructor spoke English, we weren't sure wait he was saying. Food and pool time was amazing

Bring close-toed shoes, a bandana, a backpack, and a hat! Dusty trails. The trip was fun overall. Very hot so bring extra sunscreen. The pool at the end was well needed and refreshing. The tequila was excellent and they sell delicious fresh agave syrup as well. Recommend!

Loved to see small town Mexico on horseback. Dulce Vista was beautiful, Christian took excellent care of us, bring fresh margaritas pool side. Perfect day!
