Itinerary
Take a horseback ride through a gorgeous desert landscape led by knowledgeable wranglers a not far from the Las Vegas strip. After being greeted by our friendly guides you will enjoy a western style breakfast with beverage. After that you will mount on a calm horse for a fun adventure through the mountains. The trail area is called Rainbow Gardens because its beautiful backdrop of surrounding mountains full of purple, yellow, green, lilac and red rock formations with green plants and Red rocks in the canyon landscape. Our beautiful horses and this pretty area has been featured in commercials, music videos and photoshoots for magazines. The red rocks are the same that formed the geologic layering at the Grand Canyon which is what makes it so spectacular. See a real (inactive) Volcano on your tour. Keep your eyes peeled for desert tortoise, lizards, the cotton tale rabbit, a burrowing owl, big horn sheep, coyote, bats and chip monks. Relax while your knowledgeable guide and highly trained beautiful horses show you the area that once was rode by pioneers that settled Las Vegas. Both taxi, Uber and Lyft come to us. Tour is approximately 1.5 hour.

We booked this tour for Saturday at 10am
The contacted us two days prior to the tour asking if we would move the tour up to 9 am
We rearranged our babysitter and arrived on site at 9:06am
We advised them we would be a few minutes late but would be there a little past 9.
We saw them riding away as we were parking
We have five kids, two babies that need to be nursed. We scheduled babysitter for all of them.
When someone finally answered our phone calls 30 minutes later they asked us to come back at a later time. And diregarded our text message when we advised them we would be a few minutes late.
We are now lost for our babysitter time
And away from our children longer if we agree.
We waited in the parking lot for 1 hour for their response.
Way to turn a Mother’s Day experience so wrong.
Do not recommend! Avoid this company because they ignored our 20+ phone calls and seemed to not care about our circumstance.
Extremely unfriendly, un accommodating, and unprofessional service!!!

Tour guide was kind. Trail was not very entertaining, expected more in the mountains. Breakfast not very appealing, 1 bacon strip , 2 small pancakes, no maple syrup. Hash brown cold , 1 cold small sausage patty.

KYM was fantastic with the amount of local geological information and historical information of the flora and fauna that we could and did encounter along our ride. Total professionals and very safety conscious.

We had an amazing time being toured by Kym & Emily! The horses are bombproof and listen so well – would be an excellent tour for beginners or people with little-to-no horse experience as well! Kym is extremely knowledgeable on the surrounding area and took photos of the group (and individual ones) throughout the whole trail ride. The views of the desert and sunset were incredible. It was fun, educational, and super relaxing. We were allowed to spend some extra bonding time with the horses after our ride and were able to take as many photos as we wanted throughout the tour and after. Kym and Emily graciously stayed longer to answer questions from us and share past-experiences. Super enjoyable and I highly recommend!!

The trip was good however the breakfast was extremely cold and unpleasant. The horses were beautiful and well trained. The scenery was beautiful but the trek was very limited, the horses only followed each other in a line very slowly. There was no room to explore and learn. The guide was very knowledgeable however seemed a little disinterested in the tour.

I have had the most wonderful experience taking a tour guide with silver state tour and I highly recommend riding with them, Charlie was so kind and so knowledgeable about the desert sharing impeccable facts, my breakfast was absolutely amazing and so tasty! The views were so pretty and breathtaking, the horses were so friendly and calm, the ride was like a breath of fresh air

Our tour guide, Kym, was super efficient and helpful when it came to being around the horses and being on them. During our ride, she pointed out different things on the trail and interesting facts about where we were located. 10/10 for my first horse back riding experience! :)

I purchased this for my sister and my two daughters to have some special bonding time. Although it was super windy (which no one can control), the experience was great! My daughters and sister are OBSESSED with horses so naturally this was an amazing up close experience for them. My daughters are 6 and 8. The guide also sent me photos he took after the ride and they were so great! Very thoughtful thing to do.

Experienced Horse person here:
Our guide was “Charlie”. He was kind, patient and friendly. We scheduled the day before and was quickly contacted and thorough communication was given. * the ride is not at the address on website, not a big deal though.
The horses were well taken care of, weight was good, skin/hair, feet looked healthy. Horses had ample water when we returned. The desert scenery was beautiful.
