Itinerary
Experience our shaded trails learning about our flora & fauna, jamaica’s herbs & spices used primarily in our delicious jamaican meals including our famous jerk pork & jerk chicken. Total 1.5 hour tour-This 35 minute trail ride offers sight seeing of water birds, black olive trees, logwood trees used for fencing & charcoal for cooking. Ride through our famous Red Mangrove tunnel which shows our eco-system that protects our beautiful beaches, morass & wildlife. The Jamaican government has made vast efforts to protect our red mangrove trees. Ride our one mile private white sand beach. A quick break to change to water saddles and then enjoy our famous Ocean Ride n’ Swim! Guides will use your cameras to capture the photo memories for Free.

We had an awesome time with Carlos - we were the only ones in our group so we basically got a private tour!
Very relaxed and easy going for both of our comfort levels with horseback riding.
10/10 would recommend, we would absolutely do this again.

I was NEVER picked up from the meeting place (MERRILLS II RESORT). I would like to know if I can reschedule this for Wednesday evening for I really wanted to go on this excursion. I have an excursion on tomorrow in Kingston. Also, I would like to change my pickup point for the last 3 excursions because of the recent experience with Merrills, I DON'T WANT TO LOSE ANY MONEY. I want to reschedule and I want to change future pickup point for the next excursion instead of Merrills please. Thank you.

My wife and I had a fantastic time the horses are well looked after and very calm you can’t beet being on a horse swimming in the Caribbean fantastic highly recommended

Riding in the sea, horse 3/4 submerged , all calm ,horse loved it as much as me, a memory to last a lifetime, I was lucky enough to have the very lovely Carlos to myself , very knowledgeable about the plant and wildlife as well as being an excellent guide

My wife and I absolutely loved this experience. Carlos our guide gave us a a trip to remember. We loved talking to him about the culture and he was very informative about all the different trees, plants and wildlife. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone. Getting to ride the horses into the ocean was amazing, like nothing I’ve ever experienced on horseback before. 5/5 stars for us

It was very confusing when we arrived at the site for the horseback tour. I think it was a way for them to get more tips. The driver said we were waiting for 7 more people that were late but that we would be getting a personal tour with the owner and that it normally would cost $40/pp more so we were "lucky". We never saw the other people, the said they rescheduled. The horses were really thin, and did not want to go in the water, they just wanted out. The beach definately does not look like the picture, there was a lot of garbage all along the beach, because of the location on the island the water is very dirty. The guide was very soft spoken and we were not able to hear what he was saying. The ride to the water was just ok, not scenic but the small section with the mangroves was nice. I wouldn't go back or recommend to others.

It started off pretty good because he actually was on time to pick me up, which is unusual. The drive going in was perfect. He pointed out different things to me great. We got to the excursion.People were waiting at the gate for him to get in.Because apparently he had the only key. Once inside, he disappeared for a few minutes.Came back with an ostrich and a ostrich egg entertaining a group of ten. Then he disappeared again for about 45 minutes to an hour.Now mind you, it's burning sun blazing hot at ten o'clock in the morning. When he finally did appear back.I told him to take me back to my resort.Cause after standing in the blazing sun for an hour and a 1/2.I wasn't getting on those horses that he had those horses look sick. I can't make this up on the way back.He drove hard as he could flung me all over the bus and wouldn't even open the door for me.When I got back to the resort to get out of the van told me to push a button to get out. Hopefully, he will improve, and his business will flourish.But in the meantime, I do not recommend this to anyone. Oh yeah, he first told me he would give me a refund.Then try to charge me again.But I'm fighting with my credit card.Companies to get my money back! So word to the wise? Do not use your debit card when booking these excursions. Use your credit card because the credit card will get your money back. In the meantime, JamWest made up for all of this mess.It was wonderful!!

The horse ride was peaceful and I loved the fact that we were on a private beach. The place was no overcrowded with people. They were very nice to us!

Carlos was a great guide. We had 2 and a half hours of riding, saw lots and the horses loved the sea.
The horses are well looked after and well trained , they just know where they are going and never having ridden a horse before i was not scared and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great value for money and would strongly recommend Reggae Horseback.
