The transportation service only applies from Mexico City Hotels located at Touristic Areas. It does not apply from particular residences or Airbnb and/or similar services. The transportation service is shared, subject to schedules and restrictions.
In case you select the option without transportation and want to arrive by your own car, the appointment will be at Globopuerto Volare in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico, at the designated time.

Hot air balloon flights are completely dependent on weather conditions. The direction and speed of the flight depends on the wind, so sometimes there is the possibility of not flying over the archaeological site.
Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to take the balloon flight.
People under the influence of alcoholic beverages are not allowed to fly.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

This tour was so much fun! Though the distant views were obstructed due to pollution, the views of the pyramids from above is amazing. I initially thought I was going to do the tour of the pyramids after but thought after seeing them from above it was enough of a perspective!

Overall an OK experience. A lot of hanging around and waiting. The breakfast not that good so suggest you bring snacks. The balloon flight is good but you only see the ruins for a little at the start, and then you’re just flying over random little towns.

This was an amazing experience! Volare does not hold back on providing the best safety and staff. I felt safe the entire time. All of the staff were seasoned and knew exactly what they were doing.
You do not get a cave-lunch experience but I loved that I purchased a hot air balloon flight and its exactly what I got; no up-sells, no tourist trap sales etc.
I would 1000% recommended flying with them and if I am going to do this experience again, I would book with them again!

Everything was incredibly well-organized and professional. (Hot Air Balloon Company is Volare). Pick up happened in the AM within the range advised, check-in at hot air balloon site was pretty efficient. Breakfast after was lackluster, but that is easily forgiven because there was a mariachi band!
The hot air balloon ride is a MUST—and this is coming from someone deathly afraid of heights! It was an amazing experience — highly recommend.
I also opted to go into the Teohuatican pyramid site after and paid an extra $35 USD for the guided tour. It was really fun and informative. They do take you to a sliver place trying to get you to buy, but that didn’t bother me.
Overall, one of my most memorable experienxes and worth every penny!

Amazing once in a lifetime experience. Would highly recommend to anyone. My husband and I were stunned by how beautiful Teotihuacan looked from 9,000ft above sea level. We even got a little emotional.
Highly recommend the optional tour after. Our tour guide was so informative. It was well worth the money.

If you are planning to visit Teotihuacan this balloon ride is a must. The views were spectacular. It was absolutely gorgeous to see the sun rise behind the pyramids as you take the ballon ride up. Just remember this a ballon. There is no steering system so your just going where the wind takes you, none the less we had great guides and they made the experience seamless. I was traveling alone, so getting picked up from my hotel and having a guided tour made the experience very fun and took a lot of the stress of planning out of it for me. I just had to up and ready for my pickup time. I will say remember to take some cash if you want to buy any souvenirs from the surrounding areas. And bring water.
