Itinerary
The adventure begins when our VERANEANDO ADVENTURE ride picks you up at your hotel, once you make the payment for your tour you can ask for beverages during the drive; water, coffee, or juice. Right in the middle of the village are the two pools of hot springs where you can dip and enjoy its healing properties: Increases blood circulation and oxygenation, removes toxins from the body, increases metabolism, relaxes the mind, prevents aging, relieves skin diseases (psoriasis, fungi, and dermatitis), heals wounds, Fights rheumatism and arthritis. These effects on the body are due to water containing minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sulfur and carbon. Later, you will enjoy a regional meal before your ride back; tequila cheese, machaca burritos, beans, salsa, tortillas and your choice of beverage. Besides; you will have time to go through town where you can visit the museum of history and the beautiful church, you can also go to our hot springs and tequila factory where you will taste the best tequila in town.

Extremely disappointing. Too much money for this barely mediocre experience. Over an hour trip to small village for soak in mineral hot springs—a large hot tub virtually. Highlight was lunch, which was very good. Then tour (2 rooms) of tequila factory with samples given. Then LONG trip back to hotel. Wasted day.

The ride was interesting but long to get to the hot spring. We were told the driver would be bilingual which was incorrect. He was pleasant but did not converse. I would have liked som history of the area or such while driving.
When there we sat in a warm/hot pool of water again with no guide or information.
Then we had lunch which was very nice. The village was small and quaint but again no stories to go with the location

DON'T BOOK ANY TOURS IN MAZATLÁN THROUGH ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE AREAS THE HOTEL RECOMMENDS. I thought booking through Viator was going to be a good bet but turns out it was a scam. No one picked me up. Viator should be giving me a refund soon.

I booked the hot springs tour for my friend and I months before our cruise ship stop in Mazatlan. Denise e-mailed me immediately after booking to arrange the details of our tour. The meeting place was in the marketplace at the pier, making this a great shore excursion choice. We were signed up for the hot springs, but told about the other options when we arrived at the meeting place, so we added a kayaking tour to our day.
Our Wonderful driver and guide, Carlos drove us the hour or so out of the city and into the countryside for our adventure, telling us all about the area and stopping at a roadside stand for the Most Wonderful just baked, warm, fresh, empanadas.
When we arrived in the city of Veranos, the Veraneando Adventure team took over, driving us to the Presidio River. We were in great hands with Hector who took us on an Amazing 2 hour kayak tour, guiding us safely and patiently through the beautiful calm waters and gentle rapids. We really enjoyed the tour even though I found 2 hours somewhat of a challenge, and it was really a Pleasure to dunk in the hot springs afterwards. The hot springs were followed by a Really Fabulous lunch spread including a soda or a delicious local beer. Our tour in Veranos was capped off by a tequila tasting with so many flavors to choose from. My favorites were coffee and tamarindo and I happily brought both of these home with me.
After our Delightful visit to Veranos, Carlos drove us back to the city. He drove us up into the mountains for a Beautiful view of Mazatlan before taking us back to the pier in time for all aboard. It was a Very Full, Terrific Day giving us the flavor of Mazatlan!

Sometimes you have to take the time to wind down and enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer - like getting away, sitting in a hot tub and then, enjoying an authentic from-scratch meal with all the trimmings (tequila cheese - OMG) so if you want to have a quality experience that is guaranteed to relax you, highly recommend the Hot Springs tour, delicious lunch and tequila tasting -

We were never picked up for the hot springs. After calling and them saying the driver was on his way, we waited a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I told them we wanted our money back but there was no response. Thought you should know. I have Viator several other times and everything other than this was great.

The driver never picked us up from the resort. I called and talked to them and also texted. They kept saying the driver was coming. We waited one hour and 45 minutes. No driver. I want my money back.

Not only hot Spring pools but also a mud bath, sweat lodge and
also served more authentic delicious Mexican lunch than you can eat! Transportation was great.

Visited from a cruise ship. This tour is a lovely way to get off the beaten path. We spent 2 hrs soaking in the hot springs, followed by a delicious lunch and tequila tasting. There is the option to add on zip lining and ATV. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommend

The trip to the location was about 45 minutes with very interesting sights along the way. There were 4 on the bus and 2 of us were going for the HOT SPRINGS and the other 2 went Zip Lining. Carlos assisted us in the Hot Springs pool which were very nice. Carlos administered a mud bath on both me and my friend after 10 minutes we showered off and went into the steam hut. After enjoying the steam, we returned to the hotter pool to relax a moment before a fabulous lunch spread of fabulous food and EXCELLENT tortillas (lol i ate 4). 45-minute return trip to the ship for a relaxing afternoon. Would definitely do this again if in Mazatlán.
