Dog sledding are some of the most interesting family activities in Lapland. Both adults and children enjoy this program, where energetic huskies pull a guide-led sled through a snowy landscape.
After the vigorous excursion, it's time to meet the dogs and take photos with them. Our guide will tell you about the training and life of huskies in Lapland while enjoying a hot drink.
The activity includes a visit to the reindeer park where you can interact, feed and photograph the reindeer. You will be transferred by snowmobile sled to our kennel.

Waiting behind to see the husky’s was nice, it wasn’t part of package but we happened to be last ones and were allowed.
Trip was very short and offered nothing else, whilst in kota it was like a souvenir shop with everything costing extra. A lot of money for a trip lasting maybe 7 minutes and nothing else on offer.

Ontzettend dure excursie. Je wordt opgehaald met een busje en gaat dan naar een plek in een bos buiten de stad. Dit is geen huskyfarm. Daar staat dan een huskyslee klaar en mag je een rondje ‘meerijden’. Het is een tochtje van 5-10 minuten. Daarna mag je nog wel even de huskys aaien die in het bos zitten te wachten totdat zij voor de slee gezet worden. Hondjes zijn wel erg schattig.
Tip: kies voor een excursie met een zelfrijdende mogeljjkheid, daar krijg je veel meer waar voor je geld.
