Our expert guide will lead you through the serene arctic forest and across the frozen lake on a snowmobile, offering breathtaking scenery for stunning photo opportunities. Once you reach the frozen lake, you'll learn the art of drilling a hole in the ice and the best techniques to catch fish while enjoying the tranquil nature and fresh air. Meet your guide at Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park in Santa Claus Village (Joulumaantie 5) or at Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 25).
The city office in the Rovaniemi Center is located downstairs in the Shopping Center Rinteenkulma (Koskikatu 25). You can also find entrance to the city office just across the road from Hertz and Scandic Rovaniemi City. You will recognise your guide by their Snowmobile park jacket.
If you have selected a different pickup location, please be ready and waiting by the entrance or lobby of your selected location 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time. You will recognise your guide by their Snowmobile park jacket. The activity provider will confirm your pickup time the day before the tour. If you have not received a pickup time, please contact the activity provider.

Please note: in order to drive a snowmobile, a valid drivers license is required.
2 adults share 1 snowmobile, single driving is available as supplement for adult.
Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
Children under 3 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

The guide was nice and friendly. We were allowed to go somewhat fast on the snowmobile. We didn't catch any fish. Kind of disappointed. They gave us cheap toy fishing rods made for toddlers.
Sausage was good.

Great trip, kids loved it and guide was very good, only complaint was it was very expensive in my opinion, should be half the cost

Ha the best day Ice fishing and snowmobiling with our guide Raphael….. everything was explained clear and concise… As a family we really enjoyed our day… Ice fishing was good fun… And the snowmobiles were awesome and Raphael was great with the kids and was happy to stop for a few pics and explain things to us… All in all a very very good trip…

Ice fishing and snowmobile was fun and great experience to have. The pick up and organisation from Artic Circle was quite chaotic but thanks to Guille our guide we had a great experience.

What a fantastic way to spend the day! We did this as a family of 4 (2 adults, children ages 12 and 9). We got 2 snowmobiles and did 1 adult and 1 child on each one (to ride on the back, though, the child must be able to reach their feet to the bottom rail as a safety precaution). We started right in Santa's Village and after gearing up in nice warm overalls and a talk about safety and how to drive the snowmobiles, we were off! We followed the guide through the forest (pretty views all around) for maybe 45 minutes to an hour until we reached a lake. Once at the lake, we hopped off the snowmobiles and drilled some holes in the ice to go fishing. The guide showed us how to do it and then let us try drilling the holes. Then he baited the poles and let us fish for awhile. We didn't expect to catch anything, but my son caught 1 fish, I caught 2, and my daughter caught 3! One was even big enough to eat and the guide cleaned it and we cooked it over a fire and ate it right out on the lake! We also grilled some sausages on the fire and drank some hot berry juice. After we were done fishing, we hopped back on the snowmobiles and drove back to Santa's Village. The snowmobiles were so much fun to ride around on! Everyone really had a great time! Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic ! We did the snowmobile and ice fishing tour with Sandra and it was really an amazing experience. We would for sure advise anyone to add snowmobile to their lapland to do list !! Not only is it a crazy, fun, memorable experience but it is also an incredible way to discover Finish nature.
Sandra is really the best guide we could ever imagine having. She is very professional, knowledgeable and has a lot of expertise. She is also very kind and helpful and wanted us to have the best experience possible and it was a success.

Overall it was very nicely managed. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel.
Sandra was our tour guide. She was quite knowledgeable and kept us informed and ensure that we were comfortable all along. We had a delicious grilled Salmon.
Our ice fishing was cancelled due to weather but it was compensated by extra snowmobile ride.
Based in the great experience we had we booked the Northern Lights tour as well, which was also a great experience.
Overall had a great experience and thanks to Sandra for making this a memorable trip.

This was a disappointment- yes we had exceptionally cold weather but felt like the guide didn’t want to be there or teach us anything about the environment or what we were doing. It was just going through the motions. A rip off for the cost!
The food was bad too. It’s the cheapest plastic packed sausage ‘cooked’ over a smoking fire.

The guide was very nice and has a great sense of humour. The route with snowmobiles was good for a first time driver and interesting to look around. The lake we went in was beautiful, but unfortunately no fish were caught 😄 our guide gave us some sausages to prepare over a fire he set up for us and we drank got juice. It was very nice and fun to spend time there.
